Travel Trolls TV Dan, you can check with the jack ,the tip of the jack is the audio left out put signal then an insulation ring the second metal ring is audio right out put then an insulation ring again, the third metal ring is for the mobile phone mic in put and again an insulation ring, the last longer metal is the common ground , if your earphone jack comes with three metal parts and two insulation rings that good for radio or computer use, if you use on the mobile phone it may short out one of the audio , that’s why you need to push in the plug hardly to get the sound otherwise will made short out contact ! So you need to make sure the input jack of the earphone comes with four metal parts and three insulation rings, that’s the right one for the mobile phone use!
