I love Bulgaria there is so much to do like Sofia city it’s beautiful and bayana church it’s amazing and bayana waterfall it’s awesome golden bridges gorgeous views and vitosha mountain and the museum of military history it’s free to get in and there is free tours in Sofia there is so much to do and the trains and buses are cheap debs xx

Just an idea, we used to go get a chicken and baguette for when we wanted to snack.

Dan that horse ride is about £17. I went to Bulgaria about 20 yrs ago and you could take 20 lev out with you could get vodka cokes all night. Enjoy x it’s

The OASIS restaurant is our favorite restaurant, excellent food, friendly staff and a great family of owners. If you are ever in the area again, I recommend you eat there. You won't regret it. Dan and mazzy, I absolutely love Bulgaria. Been several times. Albena just up the coast from Varna is great and Dobrich is a pretty town. Only thing is you will have to commute.

Hi mazzy and Dan. I was surprised to see what bulgaria had to offer, it looks good. Be interesting to look around the town and beach area. Shame that they dont have air conditioning in most places. Your hotel complex is nice with the flowers etc. Take care xx

Be careful of money exchange sites advertising a lot more than others as these often hit you with a high commission charge which brings it down to below the average exchange rate every where else

Hi Dan and Mazzy, i can't remember much about our holiday, i think we had a trip to Varna one day. We went twice to a McDonald's, but it was dead cheap then. I remember one dinner time my husband asked for a tomato salad, when it came all it was was one tomato sliced up. We had a good laugh about it. I've just remembered we went on a little boat to nessibar, a little old village.

Been 2 times to Sunny Beach and enjoyed it both times if you go on the bus watch out for pick pockets

I was in Bulgaria about 25 yrs ago coffee was 30p and big mac was 50p what a difference 😮

Avoid McDonald's, burger king and KFC at all costs. It's garbage and costs a fortune

When you mentioned McDonald's i was screaming dont do it due to the price. Also the horses becareful. They tell you 1 price and demand double in the end. Even 40 lev is far to much. Dont fall into the tourist trap. They work as part of an organised gang they dont play games. Just letting yous know
