The band split with Eric in November 2006 after the filming of their movie 'Taking Five.' Shortly thereafter the band went back to Boston were through some mutual friends and Professors they met Kyle Patrick (the lead singer in this video) who was in his third year at Berklee as a performance major. He was asked to join the band officially in 2007, february I think. As for the age thing, Kyle was born in 1986, Ben in 1981, and the rest of the guys in 1982
This song is heart-wrenching. I love it as well as all their other songs on Modern Minds and Pastimes. I think Kyle, their new lead singer was the best move the band ever made, his vocals are off the chain!! Even in this acoustic version this song is so beautiful.
These guys do an awesome job live! You have to see them in concert. They sound amazing plus they are all so nice. You just have to meet them to know what great guys they are. Great job guys!
i listened to this song for the first time like two days ago and wound up listening to it for about four and a half hours straight. haha i know it's weird, but it just didn't get old. to be honest, i hadn't listened to the click five since back when eric was around. kyle is really amazing though. i love his voice
Apparently this song was written by Ben and Kyle when Kyle was just joining the band after a period in which both had relationships that things were turning up missing according to an interview I read
OH MY GOD HE LOOKS LIKE HES GONNA CRY :( HE SINGS WITH SUCH GREAT EMOTION and so powerful i luv him like its just happened to him such beautiy :) he sings with all his heart !!!!!!!!
Creative differences--they were not writing the same type of songs; Eric was getting interested in acting and pushed the other band members into doing the Taking Five movie
Yea Light1234567 i totaly agree wit you about it, thank godness Kyle came back and sang the rest he saved the performance!( well i am from sg and i must agree wit you about this) go kyle
