Yes Bizzy! Got an Emu e5000 Ultra arriving today so this video is bang on for me! Nice editing btw! Wicked video - thanks for all the info. Renoise gang ✌
Pure magic from these old machines! I spent all day yesterday connecting the ZoeOS program to exchange samples via scsi. Gotta get ready for this EMU series videos!
Hi Mate, Jon from down under here, really liked yr vid on the emu 5000 and will be joining page soon. Thanks for all the time put in, your videos are packed with information and examples and work throughs. You have done a real great job documenting. Thanks again mate!
All your hardware sampler videos inspired me get out my 29 year old esi-32. I upgraded the screen and added zuluscsi. I wouldn’t buy an E5000 now since I already know the esi really well. I love your videos!
Oh man I had this sampler. It was awesome 👌 👏 👍 Your tracks are great, takes me back !!! Love seeing you use the tracker. Never really thought about controlling the sampler with a tracker. It makes total sense though because the Amiga was basically a sampler/tracker combo. I'm sure you can pull a lot of tricks with the tracker that you wouldn't think of using a Cubase style sequencer program. Anyway awesome thanks for sharing this!!!
nice.all that old hardware the heroes worked their magic of the days with, while i discovered techno, jungle and dnb. keep it comin. damn nice track you made.
Nice to see some liveliness on these fab samplers here. Always disappointed in what you get on RU-vid about €4’s. Especially when you own them yourselves and want to dive deeper. There’s a whole world beyond when those cords functions come into play. (The modular thing) Would be smashing to see some wizards diving on that level too. Fantastic /focused sounding, old fashioned reliable digital technology with low latency. Gets you into who’s-who’s-land if you have the time&passion. Another big+ is accessibility with SCSI2SD and reading WAV’s or loading whole vintage emax banks… Making this beasts too popular though is not what we want. Obviously 🙄 Great demo!!
Absolutely loved that B,Been waiting on this 1 as iv just brought a emu 32,First ever sampler but looking forward to getting my head around it and trust these videos help a lot 👊 Stay blessed Bizzy
Yo! Just discovered this channel, big up! Bought quite of your tunes BITD! Bought an E5000 Ultra BITD, currently gathering dust, but I want to crack it out again just for a bit of fun. The last time I used it, some of the buttons were 'sticking'. Does anyone know of any repair services for such old kit?
Absolutely love my Emu. I see you're sequencing it from Renoise. I currently switched over to renoise too for sequencing my hardware. Do you have specific tips for using it with a hardware only setup? Really enjoy your videos.
Why can i never set the correct pitch of the sample in the "sample" section in manage or edit? Its ALWAYS too low.. I try to place it and record in again.
Hey man been watching your videos for inspo! I want to pick up on of these older samples but which one between the emu e5000 and akai s1000/11000/3000 would you recommend? I’d like to be able to sample directly in and do a lot of pitch and time stretching and chopping. Mostly for ambient dnb but I’ll probably use it for Lofi as well.
i got a good old and full upgraded MPC 1000 a couple of days ago. i don't need to bother anymore about Floppy's or a SCSI Zip Drive, bc it has already SD card reader and a 80gb HD on board. i find it better than a 2000XL i must say.
@@tB3o3tR9o9it's has far more features in jjos but I much prefer the tactile experience on the XL. The 1000 felt like a left handed bit of kit if you learned XL first. Stupid, I know but the XL just fitted better for me.
Bizzy, I've had a E6400 Ultra for a couple of years now, I love it, but for one thing, can I load an entire folders worth of samples in one go? Loading dozens separately to try and make a preset is well tedious. I've never been able to figure out if I could just dump them into empty sample slots automatically.
Could you make a vid some phat bass vsts plz man would love to make a choon for dubwarz but I'm rubbish at bass 😂 I'll email u something I made see if that helps at all
i got both of these ultras. they are the same, except e5000 has 4x audio outputs versus 8x on the e6400. also there is a difference in the the stock screen's coloring. if 4 audio outputs is enuff for you, go with the e5000 obviously.
