Croc effects the least convincing disguise of all time as Grotbags attempts to fool the Pink Windmill Kids into thinking it's Christmas. Will she succeed in capturing herself some brats? Actually, yes. Unfortunately for her, the Magnificent Fred has plans of his own...
This episode was originally broadcast on Friday, 30th March, 1984, and the songs are We Need a Little Christmas (from the musical Mame) and It's a Good Day (by Peggy Lee). Watch in wonder as Hugh gets netted, and in amusement as Fred considers his options at the end. The funny cards idea was partly recycled a few years later in Emu's Wide World S2E7, and I'm not sure Kate was expecting *that*. (You'll see.)
Just to be clear, the very beginning was missing, so I've edited on the opening titles from elsewhere, and the end credits were cut off, so they come from the final episode of the series.
Many thanks to Jayne for lending me this tape.
