Selling for $1.50ish, no dividends, no real opportunity to sell calls, 10 yr high price was about $3.50. Oh, and is it true that insiders have sold around 9 million shares? What does one hope to gain by buying this ticket?

Are you referring to SSR Mining? They aimed to liquidate non-core assets, and within a few days, Rick Rule, Adrian Day Asset Management, and a significant unnamed hedge fund acquired them all. There's nothing to be afraid of. A share buyback was initiated a month ago, and the stock has risen by 20% since then. Their latest financials have demonstrated the revenue increase we anticipated, and it will likely grow substantially as copper prices rise. EMX comprises 44% copper and approximately 35% gold, indicating promising prospects. Things are looking excellent here. I'm betting on copper prices rising, leading to increasing profits for these guys. I’m excited about the future here.
