When your my mmr the castors are kinda just friends you watch which cos honestly my game understanding is equal to theirs so sometimes they know something I dont sometimes its the opposite, I for one am very good at saying if someone will tp out or die trying.
Not gonna lie. These were very enjoyable games with good casting. All of them Kyle, BSJ, and Grand didnt know what the fuck was going on with that IO strat either, but rather than trying to explain the phenomenon of the IO, they looked at the OG's strat and explained it in that perspective. Super enjoyable casting and games, very engaging too.
Yeah, this trio is a bunch of amazing casters. Fantastic, hilarious personalities and very high level of Dota knowledge. It probably will never happen but I'd love for them to cast the main event of TI together next year.
@@GlassOnion23 OOF now there's no chance of that happening ever...cause correct me if I'm wrong but isn't GrandGrant like a registered sex offender now???
@@chasse-nigb3rI don’t think feminism pushed him into drugging and raping a woman, he did that on his own. The other victims coming forward is also his own consequences. I can say with all that has happened and all the hindsight and truth coming out, I’m glad that PoS is gone. He lost the court case, so yes, he is a registered sex offender. On top of his substance abuse being registered.
1:59:15 watch as ana relocates to a T3 to clear the wave and use teleport back while elder titan tp's back to base to to deliver an item to wisp and be back with the team with full mana within seconds the coordination is on point
Gonna miss this casting combo during TI 10.. I love the small talk inbetween fights and the theorycrafting etc. Always been a big fan of Kyle, the scene needs someone like him.
"They do need honestly like, the absolute, be all end all win condition on OG, like they need this ana hero that 1v5s... etc..." OG: proceeds to last pick Io
@@filips9738 It's because they've been underperforming this season, relatively to their perfromance at the previous TI. So far they've proven them wrong though
@@filips9738 They didn't look Tier 1 because their results in the 5 DPC majors this year were: Didn't Qualify Didn't Qualify Didn't Qualify 5-6th 7-8th Although, they were without Ana most of the year. Looks like they timed this hot streak perfectly for TI9! So great to watch
@@rykom1ke665 They don't look like a T1 team but they are. They won a TI with this squad. The only T1 teams that actually look like it are Secret and Vici ATM
You are playing against OG. You do not ban Io because balls. They pick Io core. You lose. You are playing against OG again. You do not ban Io core because you can counter it. They pick Io core. You lose. GG
When meme was born, nobody really expect io carry was a thing until this game and how ana playing that hero was absolutely perfect 6-0 on io in this TI9 as a carry, that just sick stuff .. OG was just on different level in this TI than anybody else, and just untouchable. Period
I will never get bored watching these matches over and over and over again. The brilliance of OG as a team reflects combined and supportive intelligence of these guys, that too with 'calculated' perfection. #TeamOG #OGDota #Dota2
not everyone one of them knew it very fast before the game started when he said lvl15 has changed on io but without ags its nth so he actually knew it but he wasnt sure cuz its so weird to do this on ti (carry io) lol.
tbh these casters dont seem to play dota at all, they try to be smart but they just sound silly with their "explanations" just like the LD description towards io
What's great about this though is as the game progresses, one of them realized what the power spike was and soon waited accordingly. Lmao at a comment above, btw.
It only worked cause everyone played around protecting io in fights for 25 min till he got items. I can't even get my abaddon support to use aphotic shield.
Dota is awesome, I feel we're back to 2009-2010 when it was all about optimization and creativity, albeit the hero pool is larger now and it seem more balanced over-all.
Commentator: Why other players are not adapting this kind of strategy that OG does? OG: It's not the strategy, it's a matter of friendship and trust. Me: Just enjoy watching replays all OG TI8 and TI9 series and Truesigth with coffee at this Pandemic. Stay at home, stay safe! Ana IO is Unbetable carry...what's with IO at lvl 15? Please explain, Thanks.
IO's lvl 15 +75 spirit hero damage talent, paired with Agh's Scepter, essentially doubles the spirit damage and makes the spirits not go away on hit. on this patch, when it was a lvl 15 talent and not lvl 20, IO's mid-game damage output was insane
You'll see in this game how OG always wins in terms of gold efficiency and distribution. Look at their 3 cores, No item at minute 15-18 and then one teamfight later.. BOOm! top of the net worth. They're just so good at micro and macromanaging their resources.
When I first saw this I thought OG ran out of time for the draft and randomly got IO. Imagine if that actually happened and they made it work as one of the greatest TI strategies ever :D
34:37 isn't it so satisfying to hear that caster make fun about OG's strategy with the IO pick and when it worked all he can do is take back what he said? 🤣
@@alparius2 np bro. It's kinda beetersweet cause u know nothing will feel like watching this og team. Kyle and Grant and dota as a game was special then
The way OG plays is like one person controlling 5 heroes where they all have the same intentions. others usually back off if one teammate dies but OG just runs in for a handicap match trusting the dead guy to buyback if necessary.
@O K of cos they are aware of their buyback status. but whether the player chooses to buyback or not is the trust issue i'm referring to. if u watch true sight, even OG does not interfere with each other's decision making. Ana chose to hold his buyback in game 1 which threw the game. although jerax does make several big calls during games as seen in true sight. its still down to trust whether the teammates listen and follow.
Imagine being NIP, you've been struggling to make it into the pro scene and then you get invited to a team so you play through the open bracket to get to the ti9 group stage And then you meet io
I keep coming back to this just for the sole moment when the casters are focused on Ana's Io just drumming as they nearly missed the clash that was happening 😅
As someone who just watches dota, it feels like the word "meta" means "doing sht that won't get you reported" rather than encouraging a more open mind when playing the game. Is that a correct way of looking at it? It just feels like a "THIS IS HOW YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO PLAY THE HERO!" mindset more.
in my personal opinion, the word meta means really strong line up that excels in the current patch, that has been figured out or used by most of the pros. Just because pros dont use it doesnt mean you'll get reported. Also, pros do try builds at pub. Its a TI, the most important tournament of their career. If they found a really good build on a hero/line up, they'll definetly use it regardless of its meta or not. Every competitive games has meta if im not mistaken, so just because something is meta, doesnt mean you should play the meta. You are free to play however you want, its the player who decide; how good is the build might be, and how important is the current match for the player themselves
