First of all, this was an EXCELLENT video, but the fact that you have to do ALL of this work JUST to get gestures to work with third party launchers is an absolute dealbreaker for me. It's even worse when you realize OnePlus was doing this years ago. I'll be returning my Note 13 Pro for a OnePlus 12R -- a bit more expensive and I lose out on a headphone jack (which was previously a dealbreaker for me) but I've made my peace with using a 3.5mm to USB C adapter. Massive thumbs down for Xioami -- this is such a ridiculously dumb move for them.
Definitely a dumb move from Xiaomi - I thought they might fix it with their latest HyperOS but it's still the same. Their devices sell because of the price, they do offer a better pricing compared to the other manufacturers but yes this can be a deal breaker for many users.
UPDATE: Do not buy the Oneplus 12R or any Oneplus phone. They randomly crash and restart when using GPS navigation so maybe avoid if you frequently drive. Tried two 12R's and a Nord N30, and they all randomly crash. Just ended up switching to a S24+. Too much headaches with these budget phone companies 🤦🏿♂️
IT WORKS!!!!! I am on Xiaomi EU 14 stable and it works perfectly using the LSposed module and FNG, now finally I can use my Nova Launcher prime app that I bought back in 2015 let's GOOOO!!
I have provided a tutorial for LADB in the video description, that should be helpful. I'm sharing the link here as well techdocyoutube.blogspot.com/2023/08/how-to-use-ladb-for-navigation-gestures.html?m=1 And it's not going to be helpful if you delete the main launcher and install any other launcher..
im using evolution-x rom in xiaomi phone but there is a problem of overnight battery drain of 15-16% i dont know how to fix it, some people say to use gms doze module in magisk but evolution-x comes with kernel su i dont know what to do
I am not really sure about kernel su, I have redmi note 10 pro and I don't think it's supported right now, you should probably try other custom roms if you are worried about battery drain. I recently covered spark os (v13.5.5) that has a great battery backup. You can look into it..
If I try the method with LADB "settings put global force_fsg_nav_bar 1" and then I want to go back to default system launcher and gestures, how do I do that? Do I have to run any command in LADB again?
If you want to keep using gestures through LADB + FNG then you just need to change the default launcher. If you want to use the default launcher with system gestures, you should probably turn off everything (LADB, FNG) because keeping them enabled won't make sense anymore.
i have an issue where my poco f3 does not get recognized by my pc i tried 3 different usb cables nothing works but when i try to connect my poco x3 the default usb configuration shows up so the cable is not the issue i tried turning on usb debugging and also set the default usb configuration to file transfer still not working even installing all the necessary drivers still not working how do i fix this ?
Okay so poco f3 is having the issue. May I know which drivers did you install? And yes I would also recommend installing Google usb drivers, they have worked for me all the time, you can use the below link and download the zip package (extract it after downloading) developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb These are the instructions you would need to follow developer.android.com/studio/run/oem-usb I know this is an extremely tedious job to do but it happens sometimes. I haven't posted a video on this but you can watch other videos on RU-vid if the above method does not work. You can also reach out on insta (I'm not that active) but I'll surely try to help..
Most custom roms for cereus are unofficial builds, I was just checking and found cipher os. You can take a look once forum.xda-developers.com/t/updated-30-3-22-rom-vanilla-android-12-1-cipheros-3-0-gravity-for-xiaomi-redmi-6-6a.4406783/
You won't believe me I had same concern while checking Redmi 12 5g, i haven't ordered yet, And just poco announced its pooc m6 pro 5g which is just rebranded Redmi 12 5g I am looking more into poco M6 pro 5g because of its poco launcher And what do you think doc, which phone would have better support for custom rom, because at last I will flash pixel experience plus, what do you think, which one would would be loved more the the room Devs? Amazing video as always btw
hey! thank you so much. Snapdragon devices have generally better custom rom support compared to Mediatek devices, and I think redmi phones have more custom rom support overall. Anyways, if both these devices are rebranded, one custom rom will be compatible with the other like you see in redmi note 9 pro and poco m2 pro.
@@techdocyoutube they are both same sir, with snapdragan gen 2 processors, actually everything is same, even the looks(they just added the bold back border to poco like before)
Yes absolutely, they are the same so custom rom support should be similar for both of them. But you might have heard about different issues with poco devices, so you need to be careful.
Bro mere realme gt neo 3t bootloader unlock nahi ho bugjaeger app ki fastboot mode mein command work nahi kar Rahi Mera pass pc nahi please help me bootloader unlock
I don't have a problem with navigation bar but yeah I also faced similar issue and also not getting time to flash a custom rom 🥲 Btw great video bhai And also can you tell me which mic are you using
@@techdocyoutube thankyou for replying I checked Fifine T669, the boom arm is different compared to yours, kya aapin box bbom arm ki jagah koi or boom arm use kar rahe ho mic ke liye
Yes I'm using a different boom arm. Agar aapke paas extra table hai you can use the boom arm that comes with the box. I got this tripod from Amazon > amzn.to/3KxRhSL We can extend/remove the arm in this one but you need some extra things to fix the Fifine mic with this. I had one old ball-head that I use aur usme fix krke it works good.
Ha batana... I'm using some chu workaround. I set default launcher as Miui launcher, select gestures navigation. and then use FNG and set the center swipe up to launch NOVA launcher. So I use Nova launcher on top of MIUI launcher. Its annoying, as Nova launcher shows up as an app in recent apps too but its the best I can do if I want to avoid the hassle of Root/custom rom.
I tried it with MIUI 13 and gestures are okay, not as smooth as in MIUI launcher. LADB + FNG might work with MIUI 14, i tried it multiple times and finally it worked. but you have to run the command every time you reboot your phone. I will share a guide in the video description asap.
I have updated the link in the description but yes you can get it directly from GitHub - github.com/Xposed-Modules-Repo/com.hcgstudio.miui.fuck.gesture/releases/tag/9-1.1.2
I drowned my Redmi Note 8 Pro in a WC and had to buy something asap. I ended up with another Redmi and I swear that this was the last f-ing time I have a Xiaomi phone or computer. I bought the Square Home launcher and it's unusable. Fuck the gestures but even the "recent apps" thing doesn't work on it. What a piece of crap!
