How to Enable Kids Mode on Rooted Android Devices

In this tutorial, I'll be showing you how to enable Kids Mode. This Xposed module will let you to inhibit your child from wandering through your device. You will be able to select which apps they can use, like Angry Birds or RU-vid, while restricting access to the rest.

Just create a restricted profile in your phones settings. It's free and you can pick as many apps as you want. There is no need to download this.

Thanks for this tip! Didn't want to root my kids device and this is a much simpler way to get the results I want! (RU-vid Kids and some small games only)

I love that you can control the age content, block certain apps and videos, and free storage space with apps that haven’t been used in a while. This tablet has assisted my son’s learning in so many ways. We love it!

Awesome video, quick, simple and to the point!! Thanks.The other idea is to use a special parental control apps. So you are free to chose, depending on the age of a child or on the seriousness of control, eg K9 or Time Boss ... Additionally you get forced breaks, limitation websites by time and others...

Chris Right Google should just add iPhone mode to Android. This mode will disabled all the advanced features and only allows G rated software.

Willie Westwood You can't get rid of features built into Android unless you obtain sudo. Google has invested alot of money to make sure you cannot just change stuff.
