One other thing you can use it for, since Samsung no longer allows guest accounts, is to set up a secure "partition" that can be used for specific apps without allowing any access to your personal or critical apps. So, you can add whatever apps you want on that "partition" and keep all your other apps safe. I use this when I am going to a sketchy part of town and I am using something like Uber. I need to have my phone in my hand and unlocked while I wait for my Uber which would be the perfect time for a thief to steal my phone from me and then have access to all my personal info. So with this partition, I would just have Uber and the phone app on it, so if a thief stole my phone from me, they would not be able to get any critical personal info from my phone. And then I would erase my phone as soon as possible after that loss.

The only issue I have with kids mode is the camera app, it offers no computational processing, pictures and video quality look horrendous. And it's so limited, my kids can't use the different lenses their tablet and phone has. At least give me the option to enable the stock app for them.

I believe it's because they know they can get away with lower resolution images. Trust me, my 3 yr old takes hundreds of photos a day. All of random stuff and takes it as he runs anyways. So I'm happy for the lower quality

Use Pin App. Enable it and tap the icon. Itll pin/lock the app so they don't go around the phone other than youtube. RU-vid Kids best for kiddos not regular youtube.

@@jimmyispromothe problem though with RU-vid kids you can’t extend the videos to go full screen. I have the Samsung a54 and I can’t put the video in whole full screen

Samsung kids mode is rubbish. Half the games and apps auto remove themselves from kids mode every day. You have to constantly check what has been removed and re-add games and apps. Nothing to do with updating. Persistent problem for years.
