I know that the VA is just a kid but I can't help but laugh when I hear it. Only because there is an implication of having an actual kid trying to emulate an actual laughter sounds so cute
I speak Japanese (not fluent) and the whole movie was well dubbed. Some of the dialogue in some parts is like the English one, but other than that, not at much.
@@Neilzon808 you'll have to go up against: - his mother who could summon storms just by being pissed off - his dad who, even if he has no gift, looks like he could still take you on without a gift - Same goes for his uncle, even if he is accident prone - another uncle who has an army of rats - his tia and her kitchen which has a lot of potential weapons - his abuela and either her chancla or emotionally damaging words - his cousin who broke a man's nose with a plant and can now summon cacti and carnivorous plants - his buff cousin whose gift is literally being strong and has high endurance since rocks falling on her doesnt even make her flinch - his brother who could shapeshift into said buff cousin - his sister who def has blackmail dirt on you - his cousin with no gift but could take you on if it means protecting him - townspeople who would do anything for the family - his animal friends, one of them being a jaguar Tldr: maybe not kidnap Toñito. Also, the Madrigals can kick your ass if they need to
I just find it very cute that Japanese children even use the honorific suffix "-san" with animals. Antonio calls the rats "Nezumi-san tachi" (ネズミさんたち) in this dubbing, hehe
I agree with you on that. It's the first time I heard a japanese kid being a VA. Mostly I heard was only an adults or young adults doing a kid's voice in most anime or dub movies. The kid was truly talented for his age. Speaking of age, is the kid who VA Antonio a boy or a girl?
