-Strider 2 Count: "Here we go!" -Strider 3 Skald: Do it with a bang." ... -Wiseman: "Understood. Shit!" -Strider 2 Count: "What´sup?" AWACS Long Caster: "Friendly aircraft and EW aircraft will arrive 5 minutes late."
Is anyone else annoyed that we have to wait for a month for the next mission? *Sigh* Oh well, this one is a fun enough air battle to keep me entertained for a while. Also the Erusean chatter is perfect! They have a lot more personality in this mission.
I agree, I felt like the Eruseans here were characterized perfectly. They seemed like forgotten heroes, fighting desperately to prove their worth and reason for existing amongst the advent of drone technology in the war. Also yeah I wish we didn't have to wait. If it stirs up the Multiplayer further however, I will be more than happy for three months more of excitement.
@@FartBrain9876 Tomorrow's my birthday, an early dlc mission 2 release sure would be nice. Sorry, would have been a missed opportunity not to have said it. :P
This is literally not out of place in a Gundam setting. Hell Macross as well. Well considering the entirely of AC7's tracks. And the plot. Gundam or a Macross setting in Strangreals future wouldn't be to out there. Edit: After playing Mobilesuit Gundam Battle Operations 2 with this in the background. It totally fits.
Strangereal universe and Gundam 00 would be perfect to mash together. Between the power blocs dynamic and the mobile suits that transform into pseudo-fighter jets, it's a good mash up.
Scream and Rage are interesting little mercenaries. They could learn something from Cipher and Pixy though. I played with them like toys, it will take more than edge and vitriol to fell Three Strikes.
Dancing with those two was actually a lot of fun. Even though Rage's constant back-chatter made me wince every time. Ignoring them is actually kinda satisfying.
I highly doubt that because in the teaser trailer released in February, one of the titles of David's report that Alex suggests is "Mimetic Bats", which obviously refers to Mimic given the word "Mimetic" and Mimic's nickname as "the bats".
this is pretty late but enchanter 1 and 2 are their respective songs and refer to the phases of the mission. 1 plays before mimic squadron shows up, and 2 plays after they do. their motif is present in enchanter 2. enchanter does not refer to their callsigns.
Unexpected Visitor is probably the best soundtrack I've ever heard from the Ace Combat Series. I've only played 7 but I listen to the soundtracks of the other games too.
@@ranger168 honestly, Megalith is good, but there's a difference between being epic, and being great. Like, Avalon is just as epic, but I don't hear as many people shilling for that song. Megalith gets pretty repetitive, as does Avalon, because their loops are pretty short. This song for example is dynamic, it constantly changes throughout the 7 minutes
I really love and appreciate the effort put into the soundtracks by Bandi Namco for AC7 and it’s DLC. This one in particular is perfectly written to reflect the task at hand. There is a subtle shift in the music for every event that comes into play. From starting off intense as you fly over your fleet, to a shift in the music with each bomber group, then Scream/Rages’ intro, and so on! It’s just such fantastically crafted music that perfectly coincides with the gameplay. I’ve never played another game that nails this down the way Ace Combat does. 🔥❤️
@@michaelbreckshot6589 I always see you around and you always have this stick in the mud attitude that really irks me. Oh well live and let live I guess.
Despice of been just one mission, it really delivers a bunch of stuffs to do, waves after waves of enemies, and probabbly the second biggest air combat battle besides of Lighthouse and my second favorite kill score mission besides of Siren Song. The two Edgy Brothers are a nice addition, althought they can be either difficult to engage or very easy to beat, depending on the circumtances, you could beat them easily in the first 10 seconds went they appear if you use the TLS in one of them. But i love how they coordinate, one works as a bait as the other one agressively attacks you while you are chassing the other one, and these motherfuckers seems to use the QAAM missiles as well, something that i like, cuz is not like a copypaste of Sol Squadron, they have their own unique style of engaging you.
@@bruno5564 One of the things that i found lacky in this game, is that there wheren't any elite squadrons... like... a massived army like the Erusians only have ONE special squadron? and they are not even 100% at the service of the military brand, the Sol Squadron are escort fighters for Mihaly that gives him support during the missions where he is send to adquire combat data. They are not like Yellow squadron, or Strigon, or any of the Belkan ones.
First time playing AC7: Coooolll After second to hundredth time playing AC7: God this bollocks again... Bought SP Missions a week after release: I FEEL ALIVE AGGAAAIINNN 3 SP Missions beat half of the entire main campaign on every aspect, the immediate difficulty tweak to get it all S ranks is just *french kiss* perfect for a wannabe hardcore AC fan like moi
It was previously Unexpected Visitor I and II, but the official soundtrack list has released and these tracks are officially called Enchanter I and II.
@@monsterfurby Y'know, considering that in the ending they mention the "Pilgrim 1" starship, this might be possible Also, don't forget about Ace Combat 3. So it isn't too far from their limitations
