Thanks to French Spanish Online, I can speak French a hundred times better. I was going to go to a school for French however thats to this gentleman I'm able to speak French and people think I'm from France haha. Thank you again.

As I understand it, it is like that formally, but in spoken French, là is often used to mean "here" when it's clear from context. I saw this on a discussion in Duolingo on this very topic and a native French Speaker answered it.
