Manipur has a lot of young talents in various sports and games and hence rightly called the Sports power house. However, the prominent ones mostly come from the valley areas. The hills too, have their share of budding talents, but lack of dedication and consistency have shorten their sports career most of the time. Possibly, the difference in the approach of the parents is what matters.
This is the story of Kimkim Khongsai, aged 9 years now and daughter of Janglim and Hoichong presently residing at Khongsai Veng, Laipham Khunou Makha Leikai in Imphal East. Both the parents are sportspersons and definitely, this has rubbed on to their daughter, Kimkim.
Well wishers and those wanting to encourage and help are welcome to help in the endeavour of this promising girl's badminton journey.
