Encre Noire A LExtreme 

Most excellent in-depth review of this frag that I've seen. Can't wait for my bottle to arrive later this week.

Encre Noire A L Extreme works fine in hotter weather indeed. Somehow it becomes brighter at least on my skin. Great fragrance. Nice video.

I ordered mine a few days ago and I can't wait to test it:)

I also have samples of both.. They are pretty similar.. but I find Sycomore a bit more elegant..more refined.. the way it is more nuanced, as you said, and is less heavy and more subtle, it comes across to me as a bit more 'sophisticated'.

Makes sense that Encre Noir is thick and heavy and dark, Encre noir does translate to black ink, I wish they had an incence note in it though.

Very nice descriptions. Have you ever tried Encre Noire Sport? I'd highly recommend you do. It's my favorite. My number 1 Fragrance, along with Jaïpur Homme by Boucheron. :)

I have a Sycamore EDP sample amd prefer EN due to it's deeper, more resinous accord. Just love it! Somebody mentioned the Sport version. I don't like it.

I haven't sampled any of Chanel Exclusives , not any of the Encre's So this review was extremely helpful. I should be able to samples the older Coromandel soon though. I will get some samples of Encre. Thanks Pep
