this is the difference between prescriptivism and descriptivism. Prescriptively their purpose is to resummon the dragon. Descriptively their purpose is for PVP because that's what they're actually primarily used for.

yeah but what item do you replace? if you replace the shield and both players do that its useless again and both pickaxe and your own shield are good utilities so its better to just break the shield with crystals/anchors imo

It just means you have to also be good at axe pvp

@@qubed8465 not even that, you don’t have to be good, just literally switch to ace hit the shield once then hit crystal, u can also got behind them to hit the part of the hitbox that isn’t protected, or just place an anchor behind the enemy

axe the shield, block the cristal with blocks, it's literally a competition of reverse uno cards, just as it should be

enchant it with unbreaking 3 and if break have another shield like cpvp totem

@@redknight07_ use looting ghast farms, one shot endermen farms, and apparently sand farms exist in 1.19 so just hook that up to a super smelter and that becomes a glass farm.

I use a crystal and a dispenser with arrow and a lot of tnt for a almost instant explosion trap

nope, not even nerfed one bit, anchors and axes exist, and it takes about half a stack of crystals, which take about 8 seconds to place, to break a maxed shield

crystal pvp is still meta, lmfao. its so funny to see people actually thinking crystal pvp is dead. firstly, axes still exist. secondly, you can pearl behind your opponent. third, you can place anchors behind your opponent. fourth, shields break almost instantly. fifth, using a shield means you have no totem. if you have no totem, that means you will die almost instantly. i think its actually even easier to kill people using shield because if this, but if you have a skill issue it may be harder
