@@jack4321able The VC sounds more natural and the tuning might be more preferable to a larger number of people. The R10P is a technically more proficient HP than the VC.

Have you heard the dynamic driver version of this headphone? The price difference between the two versions is huge but apparently they sound quite similar.

@@amplifyaudioreviews Yes i tried it this past weekend it's much more premium with Susvara headband and also 3.5 cable plugs on each cups so you can use your own aftermarket high end cables.
From the pure description of the sound, these would be the perfect headphones for me, but I don't like the design, neither from the original Sony R10 or from the Hifiman HE-R10P. I think $ 4000 would have been an interesting price.
Nice impression! Maybe overly kind of you to call the design a "throwback" or "homage" though lol. I'd like to hear what you'd think of the Rognir in comparison to these.
