Isn't it interesting how everyone has a different favourite season. I always look forward to autumn. Cooler nights, sometimes even a chill in the air in the mornings that blossoms into a lovely sunny day. The oppressive heat of summer has passed, and the colours of the leaves always brings me joy.
Again you have produced a well edited and panoramic delight of the French countryside and way of life. You tell your story in a calm and positive manner, drawing the viewer in to have an intimate walk in the woods or have an upfront encounter with lovely cows. I always look forward to your videos and thank you sincerely for sharing your French Country life!😊😊😊😊😊
Hi from Grannie Cyndy from South Australia. It's the very beginning of spring here. Love your content. So peaceful and tranquil. France is my favourite go to place for dream travels. I will never be able to get there but thank you so much for taking me with you.
Thanks for setting the tone for a slow and peaceful transition to fall. We always have the welcome mat out for summer, and we too experience the deep feelings associated with its end. Loves the "girls" coming to the fence to say hello!
Beautiful! Very tempted to do a trip before my current visa expires! Missing France so much! Thank you for the magical inspiration! The wine in the corbelled hut was such a great touch!
I feel the same about the transition to fall, as time starts moving again, some kind of nostalgia and thinking what to start, where to travel... Love the chateaux, love the landscape around your region, the curious cows are so sweet and your slow pictures are giving an appetite for some days exploring this region.
Summer always seems to pass so fast. This is the first summer in recent memory I did not go to the pool. My youngest turns 21 this fall, so no more back to school. But I have already searched out and started burning pumpkin scented candles and displaying sunflowers in vases. This is how start that transition to autumn.
I feel same way about summer. Here in northern Michigan our first frost can hit mid September. No matter how hard I try to make the most of it, It feels like summer flies by. Thank you for sharing your part of the world with us ❤
This was lovely, I know the feeling of almost regret as summer slides away. Happily spring is springing in my part of the world. I can’t wait to get a copy of your new book x
Hi from Washington State, USA. I really enjoy watching your videos and the quiet life you and your family have created in France. You have a beautiful home and the countryside is breathtaking. My daughter and I were in Paris several years ago, so it's nice to see other parts of France. Thanks for sharing!
The chateau is very grand and beautiful! Love the fountain sounds in the garden! You’re right, chateaus abound in France.Thank you for sharing your life with us!😊
Here in Belgium we had a few days of scorching heat, I think today will be the last one. Fall is my favourite season of the year as well! I make confiture from grapes all the time! If they're not sweet- usually I'll use 700 grams of sugar for 1 kg of fruit, add a squeeze of a whole lemon and one apple, sliced with the core (I'll take it out later). I'm cooking it for at least an hour after it boils, and mix every few minutes. Love it!
Oooo, megaliths! I love to imagine the history in your ancient land. Was that a little arched stone Roman bridge over the stream at the shrine? It has probably been a holy place for thousands of years. Love your videos. The peace, the gardens, the vineyards, the villages, the restaurants, the music you pick. Just lovely.
Although I am not so fond of autumn (here in the Southwest of Ireland the colours of the leaves aren’t too spectacular, no grapes) I loved your beautiful melancholic impressions, thank you for sharing. That „bee hive building“ is amazing, reminded me of the super ancient Christian structures on Skellig Michael (the equivalent to Mont Saint Michel) in the middle of the Atlantic not far from here (some scenes of Star Wars were filmed over there - which for me was a sacrilege)
I love cow’s. When I was a child we went every sommer to the countryside to a farmhouse for weeks. I was in the stables , jumping on the hey, and bringing the cows every day to the field and back. ( with a not too friendly German Shepherd) we collected berries, ate them with yoghurt, and I loved the unripe hazelnuts, knocking them open with a stone. I could watch cow’s giving birth, chicken and pig’s loosing their lives for food, and many kittens had to be taken care of. We even sat on cowback‘s in the stable. It was a magic time, and no farmer would let a ten year old and a biting dog go alone to the pasture now. What a great experience it was. And then - every time we came back to the city, my sister and I had lice. 😂😂😂
The 'Jardin di Chateau' I think it was called ..is exquisite. I'd love to duplicate that setting here but know that's impossible...there is no equal for what you have in France. Yes..fall is in the air and so looking forward to cleaning up from a very dry/hot summer...asters and pumpkins next. Hello from Wisconsin 😊
Your video was so enjoyable to watch, the scenery breathtaking, and your voice has almost a soothing tone to it. I felt so relaxed. Thank you and I look forward to your next one….Lisa 💓
For us as well Fall is approaching. Now is the time we visit our local apple orchards to pick apples and buy cider. Such a lovely video! Thank you for sharing.
Another beautiful video Marloes. We’re having gorgeous weather here in the U.K. .. finally! I was feeling we hadn’t had a summer at all. So now having just got back from our sunny holiday by the coast I am happy at the thought of Autumn coming. I too have a grape vine, just ornamental but I love watching as the grapes start to darken as they ripen. I so enjoy your channel. Thank you ❤
Another relaxing day with you exploring the countryside. I love autumn which brings the promise of cooler nights and rain to our often hot and dry Australian land. At the moment we are welcoming Spring which is my favourite season. Love to the beautiful Tigret.❤
As always thank you your videos are so relaxing and informative my mental health is not to good and your videos are so good for me you have a wonderful voice which is so calming bye for now regards Lesley in anglesey 🙋💐
Thank you again for another beautiful, peaceful video. I have the same feeling here in NY ,though it’s been quite hot and I love to work in my garden, kayak ,hike and ride my bike but the heat has kept me from doing these things. I am overjoyed when I see you have put a new video on your channel. It’s nice to see these beautiful places . The chateau you visited was lovely, the carved doors were just gorgeous. The gardens were so pretty and to see that flowers that are growing so far away in the French countryside are also flowers I have here. I try to take areas of my garden and make them a little space of somewhere I’d like to visit. Yes the fall is coming and I get a bit melancholy thinking about the summer leaving , it did go too fast. But fall is beautiful too. It’s nice to be still and just take in all nature has to offer. I am so excited about your cook book .
I always enjoy your videos, I live in a French Canadian province of Quebec, our summers go by very fast. I hope you will be shipping your cookbook internationally. Salut
It will be available on Amazon! It looked like there may be difficulties getting it in Canada when I last looked into it. As in getting it available on Amazon.ca Can you order from Amazon.com in Canada?
Summer, seems like it just started and now it's ending. Did I see a cameo of Olav...getting warmed up for being on camera when remodeling season begins?
Hi Marloes, I'm wondering how I will be able to purchase you book here in Canada. Will you be taking orders? As always, I love your peaceful, beautifully filmed videos. So interesting! Thank you Glenda 😃👋🇨🇦

Thank you; so lovely and peaceful the content, i fell asleep - :) - SO watched again. I am glad you are harvesting your grapes this year, they looked a healthy crop. And i really like you keep your family fairly private in your filming - keep enjoying EVERYTHING....oh one little question, if you read these and have time to reply - I have noticed you use some american terms in your video's, like this video - THE FALL - i just wondered why if you are from the Netherlands.....thank you for all the video's.
Thank you! I have American family that I’ve been regularly talking to since I was 13 and I started my career at 22 in American companies where I would hardly speak any Dutch at work. So I naturally started using the American vocabulary and spelling (and worked hard to get rid of the accent so I could get a more European sounding one, especially since my husband has English relatives that made fun of my American accent 😉)
@@FrenchCountryLife Ah, bless you for that and thank you for replying and explaining; you 'sound' european to me, maybe why i wondered the american terms. Anyway, thank you again for all your lovely videos that you create - keep enjoying :)
Now RU-vid found something very new to select on fewers: I see, when I want to look at your vlogs:'Following content aren't available in this app'-'Looking at vlogs in the newest RU-vid version's- when trying to look at this version, I see 'version not available'. I don't know, what this is for, but it means, I am not able looking at your content in the future. I tried it with ending my abos for your channel...Maybe this is some kind of social scoring? Maybe this happens to more viewers right now? I don't know, if it will be possible for me reading the answers. So I say goodbye, sorry.
