Phos not wanting Cinnabar to be alone, turns out he's the loneliest of them all. I wonder how he's going to cope with the realization that they've all abandoned him for the sake of their selfish needs. Will Antarc coming back convince Phos to finally pray for them or Phos might just lash out like he did to the other gems? I felt so much pain at how they abandoned Phos so much till he became a monster. . On a side note: i think Eren and Phos might get along well in therapy LOL
Phos themselves was using saving the others as an excuse by the latter end of the story as well so I hope 10k years will clear them of all the betrayal they might be filling right now but who knows lol. Hahah yeah both of them would get along quite well!
@@inspirashamul I hope not. After all, he was also breaking the earth gems because he just wanted to be loved, but they never did, no matter how much they changed.
Oh Phos isn’t alone now…if you count having Lapis’s, Cinnabar’s, and Sensei’s minds all existing in the same body. If Phos does become the next sensei, then it’s probably Sensei or Cinnabar doing the speaking here. Either way, it’s gonna be an awkward 10,000 years for Phos and their “alters”

although Im glad Antarticite (typed that wrong) came back and remembered phos showing they do care, I fear after senseis answer of "they deemed me worthless and shattered me themselves" and hearing the others such as jade or eclipse scare me of the new view of antarticite for phos...
@@inspirashamul a sprinkle of joy might change it, yet the fondness of Antarticite for Knogo is a mild one Aside from our words, at least we all share the pain of the haitus lol
Bruh I had totally forgot about the admiribilis people and that they aged, when the young jelly person helped find Phos's hair and said she is the 5th generation of sea people I then realised Ventricosus is long dead and that we'd never see her again kinda hurt. Also that little jelly person is either so old now or dead in the present setting of HnK. I wonder if Phos will re-unite with the jelly people and suffer more because the ones Phos loves will wither away and die sooner or later.
@@inspirashamul I think when Ventricosus escaped there are now 2 admiribilis civilizations one the lunarians are keeping and the ones that have escaped on Earth. I don't think the lunarians particularly care about the ones on Earth because they've already got a solution and don't need them anymore. But the admiribilis might revert back to cannibalism because its 10k years and they did mention scarce resources on Earth.
I want to take this seriously but all I can think about is the one meme format where Spongebob and Patrick are having fun without a care in the world outside while Squidward can do nothing but look on
Now that i think about it, i think the author said literally when they wished us enjoyment for the next 10000 years That's probably the duration of the hiatus
Not gonna lie but I hope that Phos pulls a Joker and doesn't pray for the Lunarians. My guess, however, is by that time Phos will probably have come to peace with their new existence and we'll maybe see them walking across the beach, sad yet peaceful. Maybe Phos will go to the empty school and walk around, smiling at all the memories they'd made there.
@@cethvinson6931 Even if new gems are formed, idk if Phos will take care of them. More than likely Phos would crush them to not take on more responsibility they feel they can't handle.
Maybe some gems will born and she don't be lonely. Maybe the past-gems will save her and become gems again, they will apologies to her a million times, they will all be HAPPY and after all this time phos will control her power and only the lunarians will diseaper. All the gems will be HAPPY, they will have the possibility to go on the moons and new gems will born sometimes. I wish it happen so much
@@prismstar438 most definitely ,kaguya sama author took a break just cause he wanted to play in apex tournament So yeah probably the author of this series is still playing ps5 just hoping that she wont forget this series man Cause After reading ch 95 i feel like the manga is about to end pretty soon
I wonder how Phos can revenge with all this betrayals from both the lunarians and the gems... I wonder if the transformation machine can run in reverse and could she use mercury to torture the lunarians
Ghost better be one of those that was revived. I feel like the only one that truly cared for Phos was Cinnabar and Ghost. I'm... sort of considering Antarcite on the list based on their reaction to when they were revived. There is no way in hell I'm going to accept that EVERYONE is just fine to be revived as a Lunarian and forget about Phos (at least the ones that knew him) just like that. I'm going to be further pissed if this whole gems vs lunarians fight was just to locate the perfect replacement for Kongo. Because it's starting to feel like that with how calm they were in that chapter. I honestly hope the Admirabilis keep Phos company. They need a break from all the manipulation... and I'm pretty sure the Admirabilis won't manipulate them in any way since they're the reason why their colony was able to form freely on earth.
Oh my I forgot about Cairn and Ghost interactions I want that so badly now. The Admirabilis were lowkey getting manipulated by Phos themselves so who knows how their relationship will be after thousands of years.
Phos having the agate legs also makes them have the environment inside of them in some way, making them a full divine, while kongo didnt have the spirit.
it's what Enma wants Phos to become.. ( calling them the new divine), I mean they literally be able to be one. They have a ultra speed, the possibility to manipulate their arms, a smart spirit, high quality fighting skills and also the possibility to punish anyone without regrets. And their body is still in phosphophillite showing that they are still weak, where the heart is supposed to be...
I believe Phos will do the same thing Adamant: Create a new life form to counter the Lunarians and Gems. I don't know how, but I think Phos might begin the return of human race in some way
I just finish reading the manga now looking for a video that talks about it find yours and I enjoy it great vid man , seeing phos like that makes me cry, I miss the old phos :((
*!!!SPOILERS!!!* So in one of the chapters when they were on the moon (15 of them i think) Aechmea (Enma) said they could restore gems from dust but any gem who's hardness was lower then 5 (I think) they also said that antarc couldn't be brought back, yet in the last chapter antarcticite was brought back (Sorry to keep you hidden, is what i think they said) so does that means they purposely lied to phos. Because if antarc was brought back then phos would've been more sane and not have gone crazy and enma's plan would've fallen apart.
I agree partially to this. I do think Enma wouldn't have wanted to bring them back to let Phos spiral into escalation. But I thought the reason why Enma said "sorry to keep you hidden" was because of Antarc's attachment to Kongo who I believe was awakened right before they got to Antarc's turn. It's hard for me to believe that Enma was lying saying that reviving less than hardness of 5 is a lie since this new method only requires the inclusion memories and none of the original gem while during the moon they were discussion bringing the entirety of the gem back without their memories.
@@inspirashamul there might be a day that the Chord Shore will produce a cloned innocent Phosphophyllite but we might never know till the creator of Houseki no Kuni published a new chapter
Don't torture yourself too much while digging into it, friend. That was quite a ride already. Thanks for the analysis, also, know the quality is appreciated.
@@inspirashamul Also, here's a funny thing about the gems pronouns that might interest you. In my language there is no "it" (technically). Items are either male or female and guess which gem is the only one with a female pronoun in french. That's right, "Le cinabre", "Le boort", "Le diamant", "Le rutile", "Le lapis-lazuli", "le jade", etc,... "La phosphophyllite" (it's not "fossufofilaiuto" this time but "fosfo fill it"). Yet, Cairngorm is a princess and the Lunarian scientist/cook does such a human/reader thing when identifying Phos as "miss" (Because she's beautiful obviously). This is yet another way to have Phos be exceptional to some readers. Anyway, keep up the great work! I was a little lost since i read through the finale a bit too fast and you helped clarify it, though i think the resurrection of antarcticite (the only gem which you can't really say has either M or F pronouns in Fr btw) and Adamant were of poor taste imho, so maybe if you get to analyze it i'll see it in a new light?
@@nilspochat8665 That's pretty cool! I just try to stick to neutral pronouns since I can but it's interesting to see how other languages will pick ones fitting to the characters. Glad the video was helpful! I don't blame you though I had to reread multiple times to try to comprehend it all.
3:18 Cairngorm did appear as a Lunarian! It was the hairstyle change that kind of confused me kek. They were renamed as Welegato ~(wtf kind of name is Welegato??)~ and was near Aechmea the entire time.
I see in image comic that in moon city where all previous living gem becomes lunarian that unite except phos , where all sleeping time, welegato was called antarcticite by some scientist bec he talks about her ( wlegato or antarcticite) from being lonely in comics chapter 90+ or something like that . But thats my opinion that i saw in comic. Just the opinion
@@kobezarcal5666 1. Cairngorm and Antarticite have vastly different hairstyles. Current Cairngorm has a bowl cut, Antarticite still has their trademark long strand of hair across their face. Antarticite also has more slanted eyes whereas Cairngorm has bigger eyes. 2. Cairngorm (Welegato) was greeted by Aechmea, not Barbara (the scientist). 3. Barbara brings Antarc to Sensei, Welegato was with Enma the entire time, you can literally see this in _page 18_ , Welegato and Antarc are literally RIGHT in front each other, I don't get what's so hard to understand. 4. *PAGE 19* Shows the same thing, the contrast from the first two panels shows Antarc and Welegato side by side. They look VERY different from each other. How did you confuse them?
Adamite and Enma Both planned for Phos to be the next Adamite But the gems looked they didn’t won from being transformed to lunarians. I’d like to see the gems secretly go down to earth to go apologize to Phos for giving him pain and everything while after The War for Adamite’s Blessing.. but i think Phos would just be furious and try to fight them, But it would be a different story if phos said he wants to go to the moon to be lunarian Ok I think the lunarians can’t breathe on earth But I think it was actually like they don’t like the air? I don’t remember it’s been a while
Yeah they wouldn't be able to talk on Earth since even Enma can't. But I can see them swarm and try to get Phos to pray for them after centuries of "happiness".
@Ointment It's a huge cliffhanger for sure, but I wouldn't consider it as an appropriate enough ending. Glad you are caught up with us! The wait begins for you.
@@byleeyana That would be a little long idk how the story would make it that far but I am not complaining except that I'll get old by the time we hit ch 300 on a monthly schedule lol.
I hope the ice floes play a big role since they still have Phos's arms. And both of them are human in different ways so that dynamic would be cool to see.
Wait a minute so what about gems like Lapiz and Ghoste ? I am honestly curious if they were resurrected because Lapiz 's head is still on Phos' body. Anyway I guess that's why it's called a cliff hanger.
So Ghost was the outer layer that was stripped away. Those inclusions would've been taken at when Cairn showed up so they would most likely turn into a Lunarian. Lapis is a little tricky but I still think they would fall into becoming a Lunarian as well because once Phos could "see better" Lapis gave full control of their inclusions in their head to Phos while the rest of the inclusions would be up on the moon.
Great video!! You have a really calming voice... We did see Cairn as a lunarian tho right? Weren't they the one who got renamed to Welegato or did I get that wrong
@@justyouraveragemartian783 no, It was Cairn. Because cairn was the only one who wanted a new name. And It would bê pretty awkward for many panels between the conversation between Kongo and Enma, he being by the side of Goshe instead of his wife. And also the panel where Kongo and Enma are facing each other with Antarc by Kongo's side and Welegato by Enma's, where the two ex-gems faces are cut in half by the panel and kinda complete each other. Making allusion of Antarc and Cairn's roles with their affections (father and child, husband and wife). Also, Goshe's bangs bent to his right, while Cairn's are completely straight covering the eyes
I imagine that eventually, somehow, Phos will learn the true reason Kongo never finished the prayer. Perhaps some time before Phos is able to pray, a new collection of gems will be overseen by Phos in their old school grounds as Phos at this time (sub 10k years) may come to see that it is pointless praying if there will be no one else around for all eternity. After all, the original goal is to have Lunarians leave so that the gems will never have to fight them and suffer loss again and can build a gem society for the remainder of their eternity. Once Phos Learns of Kongos reason, the Lunarians along with the Lunarian moon gems may find that they have failed in hiding the truth from Phos and that they now face a 10, 000 year army that is unwilling to pray their lives away.
Only thing that is holding me back from fully agreeing with this is that the Lunarians can peek at what Phos is doing the entire time since they have to technology to travel to Earth easily. But would love to know what the true reason for the hesitance of praying was.
@@inspirashamul I think it's likely that he could only follow the commands of a human especially when adamant said "I have been waiting for so long for a human to let me know that my work is done", but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know how good of a guess that would be, what are your thoughts?
Following up the theory that the hiatus is to prolong the feeling of the 10,000 years, I think we see the timeskips from Phos's perspective, after all they are the main character. The first timeskip when they lost their head, in Phos's perspective, they woke up the next second with 100 years down the drain. They were asleep the whole time and did not sense the passage of time. The second time, they were shattered and separated. Still, they can't feel the years, since it appears that once shattered beyond a certain point, the gems are no longer "alive." In their perspective, they woke up as a monster immediately after being broken. Now, for the 10,000 years, Phos is not asleep or "dead," as they were in the previous timeskips. We are still viewing the story from Phos's perspective and for the first time, they are the one who has to experience the long years, hence why the series is currently on its longest hiatus since the start of the story. Would be a cruel play on Ichikawa's part, but she wrote this darn tragedy, would not be surprised. COME BACK SOON MY DEAR ROCKS
Amazing observation yeah they were all in Phos's perspective and now we get a taste of what waiting around hoping for more info but not getting it feels like.
It has easily been millions of years since humans died if we look at geology. First of all, if the earth was struck by 5 meteors back to back, the atmosphere would've been covered in dust. But since the Earth is almost entirely flooded, that means that most of the earth was most likely just fire and lava similar to how it was when the moon hit it billions of years ago, but after millions of years the atmosphere would've created a crazy amount of rain and gotten it to where it was now. Most likely, during the time the Earth was healing, the rocks would've been made. It takes millions of years for rocks to form, and just as long for life to evolve. So that has to mean Sensei was alone the entire time.
I wonder if through sensei's eye, phos will find out that praying for lunarians will also wipes away all existence. Aechmea may not mention it to him, but gaining sensi's knowledge might.
@@inspirashamul same, i was speedrunning this manga and as i caught up, IT STARTED ITS HIATUS!!! AHH THE WORLD IS TOO CRUEL! (i should not be saying that,as a mangaka/webtoon artist whos work is on...hiatus...)

Whenever you feel ready, don't pressure yourself. I've been in the fandom for a while now and it's both wonderful and emotionally exhausting. It's great though, don't regret it one bit. Makes me kinda proud tbh
@@inspirashamul I'd agree honestly! I don't think it could've ended in a better way that it has, a rarity nowadays. Full masterpiece, and even ends on a happy note, what a series this has been. I'm so glad to have been a part of this and may this series have the season 2 it deserves... Please Orange? Pretty please?
Since phos’s special inclusions allowed them to function even if they reformed with different minerals for their body. Could the the other parts of phos(shards, arms, legs) get reformed with other minerals to make another phos gem made up of the memories lost. The thought of human phos meeting the culmination of their past would be an interesting idea.
After finishing the manga recently I feel so sorry for Phos. 10k years is a painfully long time to suffer when everyone else that he knows may have been living comfortably now with the lunarians.
I think we do see cairngorm as a lunarian it’s the first gem which aechema speaks to and gives a strange name. Their facial feature resemble cairn a lot
What do you think of Antarc's look when he wakes up as a lunarian ? He has a mix of his, Lapis and Phos hair which is very intriguing to me ? Would love to hear your opinion :)
Honestly I couldn't tell most of the new lunarians apart, but I thought that was only me lol. Glad to see I wasn't the only one struggling but I guess it's probably because they don't have a physical structure anymore so their shape is from their inclusion memories which is probably somewhat distorted.
Of course yeah although it's not entirely the reader's fault since scans for the manga or certain eng subtitles for the anime use he/she so that influences how the reader also describes the gems.
@@inspirashamul I think that enma would definitely use them, particularly antarc and cinnabar, because at this point phos has no reason to pray for him. The gems also won’t refuse to be used as hostages p, most of them don’t even know about enma’s plan
Would love that since Phos would think it's another illusion but it's actually the real thing this time. That is if Phos even remembers who Antarc is at this point lol
It’d be a real punch in the gut if the two reunite but Phos doesn’t even remember who Anatarc is. Or the possibility that so much time would pass that neither would remember the other, even if they were to meet.
@@tintedpalette653 Yeah we don't know how the Lunarians remember things since they don't have inclusions. There is a possibility it'd be a fresh meeting?
I hope Phos will just get a happy ending. But not with the moon gems or lunarians. Maybe she will become a better Kongo if new gems appear and teach them better or they’ll try to bring humanity back like this cannnn get so crazy. I just hope that whatever happens it will mean that Phos will finally find peace.
I just don't understand why Phos receives any sympathy whatsoever. They're a murderer and a Judas. I hope they suffer eternally. It truly is beyond me as to why anyone would want Phos to have a happy ending. The lunarians aren't the antagonists, Enma certainly isn't, Adamantine (an omni benevolent being that Phos destroyed) definitely isn't. The Gems Phos corrupted aren't. Phos is the villain. I feel like I've read an alternate version of this story. Phos is completely unrepentant and beyond redemption.
phos has lapis and cina pieces in they body , when the lunarians revive lapis and cinna would they feel that some of them is part of phos now or they will only lose some memories
I think they would only lose their memories. The majority of the inclusions are on the Moon and those were what were needed to revive them as Lunarians. Not everyone can leave instructions to their leftover inclusions like Lapis can.
ok , i can't understand somethings.... i hope someone explain these to me.... 1_did phos know that if adamant prays everything would go to nothingness?? i didn't see that someone tells it to phos.... 2_do gems on earth know that phos wants adamant to pray so lunarians will go away? or they know that adamant is malfunction so everything will go to nothingness so they don't want to go to nothingness and want to stay aside of adamant forever??
1) Phos doesn't know that if Kongo prays, everyone goes. 2) I believe all the gems know Kongo is broken especially with how Euclase asked thousands of times for Kongo to pray. I do think the gems knew that Phos wanted the lunarians to get prayed away.
@@inspirashamul thankyou so why they didn't tell phos about this? after kongo rebuilt phos and he returned to moon gems knew about this but no one told him about this , what is wrong with them? and gems on earth....did kongo told them about his malfunction and pray? i mean....if they thought that if sensei prays so they can be free from lunarians so why they didn't want it?? was it because they knew about the truth that everyone would turn to nothingness?? so why they didn't tell phos about it?? was it because they thought that phos know about this??

Yeah it kind of rested on Euclase to make the decision because the gems were more in favor of ending the conflict than siding with Phos who is entirely isolated and distant from both the moon and earth gems.
@@inspirashamul i think i filled that plotehole somewhat though Back in chapter 79 when the idea of turning a gem into a lunarian 84 talks about how they could try to use inclusions and experiment So the central idea of a gem turning into a lunarian would most likely be not the fact that they turned into the "soul" but rather that they could adquire the physical capabilities of a lunarian
I'll be very intrigued to see what Phos 10K years into the future will become. They will effectively have 10K years of reflecting on the entirety of humanity's path. I wonder if the conflict will become a similar problem to Kongo. Instead of being rendered broken by happiness, Phos's flaw will be her choice to annihilate everything it ever knew would both achieve their goal and Enma's at the same time. Perhaps this will become a cycle of how humanity's imperfections run so inherently deep that salvation can't even be provided to its sundered pieces. Or at least, salvation cannot be rendered through deception and pragmatism, but true 'middle-pathing.' (whatever that means in the eyes of Ichikawa). Cursed P.S. Also, your second favorite is Cairngorm. This is Haram. Its not too late. Join me in prayer to Allah and he will clear your clouded vision. In Allah you will see the truth.
Yeah I agree whatever that middle path option that Ichikawa has for us I am curious to know. LMAO for the development that character development. But thank you for the prayer hahah.
