RU-vidOHANA: Hope y'all are doing well today! As for me, you can probably tell I'm still dealing with my sinus congestion hehe! Please don't mind me! I just got excited when I saw that the guys dropped this video when I got home from dinner with the family tonight! I was like....WHAT THE?!?!?!?! and straight to the recording room I went hahahaha! I was waiting for this release for a while now and since I was already home, I went for it! Maybe I'm the first one again to react?!? Hahaha! Can you tell dis Bruddah Home Fry is excited to see them soon???? Yup yup yup! Have an amazing evening y'all! I gotta hit the sack so that I can get better =) Much Alohaz for watching! Bruddah Sam
We are all used to Austin doing the runs, and stepping out.....but Rob??? Wow! This just showed a whole different side to Rob, and I loved it!!!! Thanks Bruddah Sam!
This is why I love your channel Home Free just dropped this and you are on top of it. Rob killed it with his vocals WOW Great reaction Bruddah Home Fry Hope you feel better soon God Bless
You are the first reactor to pick this up. NICE! I love it! Rob killed it didn't he? Some say his vocals are the weakest in the group, but I beg to differ. Feel better and thanks so much Bruddah Sam.
What a great way to start my day! A great reaction from you on HF! You are the 1st to react...yay! Rob really knocked this one out of the park! I've never heard the original ...so for me...this is the original! I'm so glad you are seeing them in April...can't wait to hear about it! I will see them a few weeks later on May 2nd!
Rob really knocked my socks off! Wow! He brought it! Austin did great, too. All of them did an outstanding job...but...wow....Rob killed it. Thanks for reacting and hope you're feeling better.
Hey Bruddah, Happy New Year! Happy to see such a fast reaction, sorry you're sick! Can't wait to see your comments after you get to see them live! I've got tickets for one of the shows a week or so before yours so I know the anxious feeling! But even more anxiously waiting because the only announced show of the NEW tour so far is here in Utah and I snagged tickets for that as well! Growing up in the 90's listening to Boyz II Men and Sawyer Brown I'm hoping to see this song and Some Girls Do performed live in July!
I gotta say BOYZ II MEN is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE groups BUT...They SANG the Holy heck outta that!!! And Rob trimmed down and brought his A game to this performance!!! They're just straight up EAR CANDY!!!! Great reaction...🔥💗🔥💗
I'm so lucky to get to see them on 3/1. This will be about the same show as the one when this tour started almost two years when I saw them. It's also funny that they will perform right across the street from the last time. can't wait. good reaction.
Aloha Ally! I literally saw the notification when I walked in the door tonight and I was like, "I'll vacuum later, lemme get to Home Free!" Hahahaha! I did vacuum downstairs after I was done.....for the record hehehe!
First one I see with this great new cover! Been waiting for it to come out since the Patrons got our sneak peak. Love it, love it, love it!! Takes my breath away! Thanks.
I never heard this song before. When I saw that it was a Boyz II Men cover, I was disappointed. HF is supposed to be a "Country A Capella Group". However, this is good! The fact that it is a Ballad doesn't hurt. I'm sure it will grow on me like their other "non-country" covers has.
Hope you are asleep as I type this now, Sam. ;-) This one has had me tied in some knots. Here's what I commented on the newly-released video: "I love this song musically, and am hooked on that part. I'm not fond of the words. It feels manipulative, and perhaps a bit narcissistic. That said, I would love to hear this live. Since I know beyond any shadow of doubt that there are NO instruments used, I'd really like to hear the start-up of whatever is being done into the looper!!!" I'm with you on Rob and Austin...and then there are the others doing all of their fantastic stuff. The emotion is definitely powerful! The sound is fantastic. It's the (as at least two others commented on the actual video) "synth sound" in some parts, that has me wondering about not-so-much HOW, but WHO! It's harmonic and high...almost like actual harmonic overtones. If you're not familiar with harmonic overtone singing, check this out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UHTF1-IhuC0.html If it is, though, which of the guys is actually producing the overtones? Watching them, I'm prone to thinking it must be Chance, especially since he does the jaw harp on "Man of Constant Sorrow." What do you think?
I see I'm not the only one who missed the "Ooooh" part in the chorus - I cannot not sing it when I sing along, even when it's Home Free's version - But I love it. Happy New Year from Denmark.
Great vocals, as usual from these guys. But did I hear a faint instrument in the background at times? Maybe an organ keyboard. I didn't notice it until I put on my earphones.
I would like to see a reaction to Madness by Street Corner Symphony's (Chance's former group) Madness. The song has been stuck in my head since I heard it. That or Hard to Handle or I Believe in a Thing Called Love by SCS.
I love this one. I’m just disappointed in the video. It’s another standing-around-in-the-warehouse-of-the-month video from Green Shoe Creative. Sure, the videography is well done, but I really miss their earlier, more story-like videos created by Fifgen.
Unfortunately, I believe they have moved on from that. I asked them about it in a comment on their We Three Kong’s video, I think it was, and they indicated that Fifgen wasn’t doing any more video production. It looks like they are focusing on their music as The Hound and The Fox.
@@jackmandu Yes...I do believe they are, which is good...I'm a patron, but I wish they wouldn't give up on video production for others, either. ;-) I do understand "stretching thin," though...sigh. ;-)
