Endacopia Demo - Surgeon's Song (Beautiful Creature) 

I always love the “polite insane person” trope, when he goes “Language” After the main character swears is great XD

I guess you could say his bride is twice the woman anyone will ever be.

Man you know you got a fascinating story when the human-esque alligator serial killer isn't the most fucked up character.

I like how all the horror elements are hidden away. Like finding his “bride” kept alive and being grafted to another woman

The fact that the song ends on the line of "oh no"... That is an amazing moment. All these rosy words and statements about what he did... Wrapped up in a sudden negative. There's a plethora of meanings that can be taken from that. And most of those speculations conflict with other speculations.

0:40 when he says "to make somebody suitable" the screen shows 2 jigsaw pieces that look like they fit together, but look closely, those are the opposite corner pieces. They couldn't be farther from each other.

I don't get how people are shocked with the revelation about his bride. Like if you pay attention to the drawings you see the two women combined, when you talk to him he's incredibly enthralled combining creatures dead or alive, and his name is The Surgeon. I honestly don't know why a lot of you were expecting something else.

i never really noticed the computer screen shows a bunch of images on what he's singing about, like when he says "i had the two combined" it shows a person with another person sticking out of them or when he says "what a beautiful creature" it shows a random mess of lines and shapes.

The fact that the image he displays while lamenting the world's "closed minds" is a scale image heavily associated with laws and courtrooms is a nice foreshadowing.

Ok, so there’s a secret in this game. You need the lights on the hallway to spell out UN - DER - GROUND For your character to descend into the ground, where you’ll fine the “bride”, in an uncomfortable predicament.

He may be a monster.....but this was a god damn *BANGER*

"Enda" means to be married to, or to marry. "Copia" means a copy, something like an identical duplication. When combined, the word "endacopia" would probably mean something along the lines of "Being married to a clone/copy", which could either hint that the robot-like surgeon himself is a clone of his old, human self OR suggest that the "Bride" is just a copy of the surgeon's two lovers, a "beautiful creature" with an empty shell reminiscent to the two people the surgeon used to love.

And oh...what a beautiful creature his bride turned out to be.

The irony here is that, when you first hear the song, its a wonderful surprise. Sure the lyrics are a bit quirky, and it brings to mind a bit of Dr. Frankenstein, but its all good fun. ... Then you discover the secret. And now, all I can think is "This person is a bloody lunatic, and I'm so, so angry that two people have to suffer for this maniac."

At first I liked the character, but after seeing the bride my heart aches thinking about the pain they must've felt because of the surgeon's doing.. :'(

For the general tone of the game and the dark undertones present here and in the secret area, this song is JARRINGLY uplifting and wholesome, and that's one of my favorite tropes in creepy games

I love how even though this is a completely optional part of the game that can be skipped over and has nothing to do with the main objective, the Surgeon still manages to add a substantial amount of value and importance to the overall experience.

nobody seems to notice this detail, but i love it. you can see how his head-light thingies move out and back in like a dog's ears then when he realizes the question and they move really quick. every video of this guy i see that and it's really cool.

I feel like the Surgeon would get along well with Dr. Steinman from Bioshock, they both seem to have pretty similar ideas of what constitutes as "beautiful"

His creature was indeed, beautiful.

This dude is the antagonist and created clocky who proceeds to try and kill mallow/mellow and combined two innocents. Also notice the monitor when he says the creation was beautiful.

Why is this song so good!

I say that mr surgeon man is some robot guy who thinks he's smarter than everyone because he's a robot. He was designed for surgery but malfunctioned or something and became sentient. He falls in love with two people and with the power of medicine and a lack of morality violently glues the two people together creating the lovely creature we know today :)

He may be a horrible sociopath, but by God can he carry a tune!

The surgeon reminds me of Eddie gluskin from outlast since they both talk about a "Bride" and they both do stuff to ppl to change them.

Fun fact, if you interact with the lights in the hallway they make "random" sounds, but if you interact with them from left to right they say "un-der-ground" like he says. Then you get sent to a creepy void with disturbing things, but most importantly, HIS WIFES

This is the most beautiful noise i've heard from a traffic.

He's tormented can't you all see? It seems like the 'oh no' at the end was a part of him breaking to the surface to acknowledge that even though his actions were likely done out of love, he knows the tragedy that he's caused and is crestfallen. At least that's how I see it, he doesn't seem to be antagonistic in my eyes. More of a Dr. Frankenstein perception of love and life, but a tragedy all the same.

If you didnt realise in the backround when ever the surgeon says a sentence the computer will make a picture based on what he's saying, which is exactly like in andylandchannel he made a trailer/song about endicopia and whenever andyland says a sentnce in that song the computer will also make a picture based on what he's saying

This was my very first exposure to endacopia and I thought this was an actual really old point and click adventure game, also that the surgeon is a crucial character mandatory to meet so you can progress through some red facility or factory, I also thought when I read the comments that there was some umbrella corporation type clean building/facility place and you had to imput some code into a console so that the lights said underground and that the path to the bride would be like a small rectangular crevice that leads into a pitch black abyss with stairs that lead you to the bride (also I did not know about the horrible gruesome body horror in the underground)
