Endgame Gave Spider-Man A New Ship? - Parley 

Do you prefer these two as a pairing or as a Brotp?

I always kind of had an au headcanon of Shuri, Harley, and Peter being Tony’s rowdy kids

I've always seen Peter, Harley and Shuri - the three teen geniuses - being great friends and (after Endgame) acting as big siblings to Morgan. -And maybe bonding with Lila Barton and Cassie Lang and omg Young Avengers assembling- I've never really shipped Peter and Harley because I love the brotherly bond, but I guess there's potential. We'll see if they do something with Harley in the next movies. (I really hope so but who knows)

I loved that they included Harley at the funeral, regardless if he comes back.

I personally think Harley will later be important to the MCU and it would be really cool for him and Peter to cross paths again and hang out but I really don't think it's a ship that's gonna sail. Just my opinion.

I am here for this ship. And I am here for them as a brotp. I just love the idea of them spending time together, bonding, and eventually healing via the loss of another father figure. I also like the idea of them being there for Morgan now that she doesn't have a dad. And now that the Far From Home trailer is released, I am there for Harley helping take the burden off Peter too be the next Iron Man, by becoming Ironlad. These two make for an interesting, adorable, emotional playground. Also I want them to figure out how to bring Tony back but you know.....I am not over it yet. Haha

I've been on board of this ship ever since CACW/Spider-Man Homecoming came out. I was so happy to see Harley and Peter sharing a scene in Endgame (well, as happy as I could seeing as Tony had just died...). Looking as it is said that SMFFH will start minutes after Endgame we can guess that it'll prooobably begin with the furneal scene. Peter meeting Morgan and maybe, hopefully Harley? I'm glad to see Endgame putting this ship forward as more people are learning about it and there are more fanfiction being made. Really, I can swear I've read some of Parley fanfiction like 5 times. I wish I could write :( I hope we'll see Harley at least in the background in SMFFH. My shipping heart would burst with happiness at them sharing another scene (and they could totally bond over Tony's death). Also, isn't it weird that Harley got invited to Tony's furneal? It literally doesn't make sense because Pepper couldn't have known that he was important to Tony UNLESS he talked about him/kept in touch with him. Okay, that was long. I love fans. Fans are the best. The shipping community is so creative it makes me smile so wide I feel like my face is going to split in half. I am 0% surprised that this ship exists and I want it to become a fandom juggernaut because I just LOVE the ships that take a sharp left turn somewhere in canon and keep going straight on till morning. Harley steals the Iron Spider when Peter left it behind at the Avengers base and fought as Iron Spider when Peter was away. That is why Peter needs to make a new suit in far from home as he could not get the iron spider suit back.

I found in Iron Man 3 Tony and Harleys relationship to be weird but awesome and I love that he got brought back like I though when i saw him i was "is that who I think it is?...awesome" I wish he helped in the battle though if that was the case and had him and Peter go to Tony like his sons.

Headcanon is that Harley and Peter were both Tony's interns and low key (high key) known around SI as 'Tony's kids' because Tony is such an Iron!dad. It's Brotp for me. Harley is Tony's eldest, Peter is the middle child and Morgan is the youngest. Morgan has two older brothers who love her and look out for her. Also Headcanon is that Peter, Ned, MJ, Harley and Shuri (and maybe Morgan when she's a little older) are next gen science!bros. And Harley would definitely have a crush on Shuri.

I've been seeing people ship Spider-Man with the entire female cast of endgame more than this guy

I hadn't even thought of these but now that it was mentioned I could see them as hella slow burn ship. Starting with their grief over Tony than slowly bonding after Peter needs help with his suit and since Harley helped Tony in the past he could be the best option for Peter to go seek help from. Not saying that Peter isn't good with tech bc he obviously is (hacked the training wheels away) but I do think that Peter is more for bio/chem and Harley is the mechanic. Similar difference than what Tony and Bruce had. Now I wish to see these two interacting. Even if it's just being science buddies.

to anyone who thinks they don't share enough screen time or that Harley doesn't have enough of a character I would like to present you with the ship Reed900 from detroit become human. Gavin Reed is a side character whose entire character basically is that he hates androids and RK900 an android who is part of the upgraded series of a main character, Conner/RK800, but only appears in one scene of one ending and does nothing but stand there. They never interact and the timeline that RK900 is shown in isn't even the one that the ship is generally put into (the game has multiple paths and endings). Yet RK900 has an entire personally constructed for him and is shipped with people, mostly reed or connor. Also Like Moran and Moriaty is a ship even though Sebastian Moran doesn't even exist in BBC's Sherlock.

Hi, I just wanted to say how excited I am that the MCU gets to play around with all the younger/newer characters and doesn't (yet) have the problem of endless reboots that the comics have. Actors have contracts and personal limits to how many films they want to participate in so character deaths or retirements will likely have staying power. Nevertheless the mantle of "Captain America" and "IronMan" can be passed on to others, and even open up other options (who will run the Avengers the way that Black Widow did?). I'm sure Far From Home will deal with the gap that Tony has left as it relates to Peter (I imagine he will decide [like Dick Grayson] to maintain his own identity), but there is room now for Iron Lad or Riri Williams' Iron Heart (or a duo of them!!) to show up in some way. I think most of them will come about in Phase 5 or 6 since Phase 4 will be fallout and angling into the next big problem. Hopefully, people don't get too burnt out by that point but even then I think Marvel will earn enough each movie to keep making them (or it will move to their streaming service)

Honestly, I’ve never heard this shop before you made this video. 1 I guess I can ship this ship. 2 I can also see myself ship this ship. However, I need to know more about it. More about their characterisation and their dynamics. I want to know how Harley reacts to Peter and vice versa. I guess it does work that we don’t know much about older Harley but I’m still missing some pieces. I want to get into this ship. After all, a snarky more confident guy hitting on Peter sounds appealing, especially after “Hey, I’m Peter Parker,” was such a cute moment on Endgame. I could almost imagine Peter saying the same thing to Harley only with a little less self confidence. He’s so flustered to introduce himself to Harley. I can imagine Harley completely getting infatuated by this cute and quirky boy who doesn’t seem to sure of himself when meeting new people. There’s a lot to imagine. This is especially hilarious since Tom Holland is 5 years older than Ty Simpkins. (Side note, would you believe that the kid from Jurassic World, the younger brother of Nick Robinson, was Ty Simpkins?). Anyway, I’m willing to read more about this Parley ship. 3 I wish you could make a real ship analysis about this. Sadly, there really isn’t much to this ship and this is the most to an analysis we can have. Can you recommend a fanfic of Parley on your next Fic Rec Friday?

I like it! I read my first fic about them after Homecoming because I was looking for these good good Peter Parker feels and never expected to see Harley's face again! It's always a pleasure when a rarepair gets more attention (like Jon Snow and Tormund who are my fave GoT ship but only very recently got a 100 fics on ao3!) also I appreciate the T'Challa/Bucky illustration very much that is a top tier ship

I haven't heard of this pairing before, but now that I have, I need to check it out! For some reason I really love rare pairs. I usually go into a fandom for some popular pairing, but then I see it. A rare pairing. And it pulls me in and makes me forget entirely about that popular pairing. It's almost like a curse.

listen, i love Parley and all, but it’s still kind of annoying that people will take two skinny who’re boys and just immediately ship them. i have no problem with people who ship a lot of that (cause i mean i am one of those people) and of course you can’t control what you like, but Peter and Ned also have really good chemistry!! i feel like people overlook their ship because Ned isn’t white or a goddamn twink. i know there’s plenty of people out there that simply see them as platonic too, but i know that it’s also just an overlooked ship and that makes me sad. on another note, i REALLY hope they do more with Harley and explore his character more, even if only in some quick cameos. i mean, he’s got to only be a couple years older than Peter, 2-3 at most, so maybe they go to the same school? like have they ever been chemistry partners (no pun intended) or something? i just want them to at least be bros!! but what i really REALLY would like is for Harley to actually become Iron Lad. that would be incredible. i want a whole ass second gen of superhero’s eventually. now that Captain Marvel is in the MCU, i hope we can get Kamalah Khan eventually. and with that, maybe Squirrel Girl?
