Over the past few years, a new approach to investment has infiltrated Wall Street and turned the financial sector upside down. The environmental, social, and governance (ESG) movement deviates earnings from capital and labor to support the environmental and social concerns of a self-appointed elite. Ending ESG Investing and Restoring the Economic Enlightenment, a new book by AEI’s Phil Gramm and Terrence Keeley of 1PointSix, seeks to end the empty promises of ESG and puts forth an alternative approach to value-based investment.
Sen. Gramm, the former chair of the Senate Banking Committee, and Mr. Keeley will join AEI President Robert Doar to explain the fundamental flaws behind ESG and discuss how we can restore to Wall Street the principles that promote opportunity and growth.
