The Black-breasted Puffleg is a rare and endangered hummingbird that can sometimes be seen at the Yanacocha Reserve in northern Ecuador. Our search for hummingbirds to photograph took us to this reserve for the second time. Travel with us here and to the Guayaquil on the Pacific coast in search of beautiful hummingbirds.

Absolutely love the drone shots in this episode. How tiny you all looked as the drone flew higher certainly reflected your search for the elusive puff-leg, as if you were the tiny hummingbird hidden by the landscape! And I am always so impressed by your mobility and hiking skills, Carol! My hummingbirds in Central Indiana have decided to be elusive as well and I am working on options to draw them out! I got dive-bombed by a male in my front yard as I changed nectar yestetday, so I know they are still around! A female seems to like my backyard! I have followed your channel and set up my garden's hummingbird spots with your advice! Thank you! I am a lifestyle and wildlife writer and am working on an article about hummingbirds. I was shocked when I saw how small the drone that has done all that aerial footage was.As always drone shots were extraordinary. You show what great shape you are in again with your hikes up these mountains. By the way, the hummingbirds were nice also. I am sorry we missed the Black Breasted Puffleg but hey, you can't see them all if they don't cooperate. Can't wait until next Sunday.

Thank you for all your time and care you put into making your videos. The Lord tells us to go out into all the world and give the gospel, the best gift ever given. Hi Carole!! This has nothing to do with your video. I'm a hummingbird lover. I have had my feeders filled around my property for about a month and have only spotted one male ruby throat. He has only been spotted twice this season so far. This time last year they were fighting over the feeders. Im in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. Do you know why I might not be getting any hummingbirds at my feeders? It really is upsetting.
