Hi Tara, nice video from lesser known Ecuador and equator line too. Till few decades ago I use to listen Christian broadcast in English on short wave radio from Ecuador which enabled me to develop interest in Latin America..good to hear when you say that sometimes we need to detox our life being away from internet City life among the nature

They have a fairly poor (and expensive) postal service. The recipient needs advance notice and has to camp out at the post office to collect. They didn't have delivery, at least in Riobamba when I went. I went to a deaf school in Riobamba. They asked for $$ contributions rather than goods. I would like to go see them again but will find another way to contribute. On that trip, I bought some of the student art ($50 worth) and gave it away to friends back home. I highly recommend visiting this small school. Great teachers who are hearing and understood my Spanish and rudimentary ASL vs. their Spanish Sign Language.

I HAD A BLAST!!!!!Ispent nights 1 and 2 in Quito,then a night at el ceater,a wonderful eco hotel near the middle of the world you went to.then 2 days at Cotopaxi National Park,which blew my mind.the 19000 foot volcano was so beautiful and majestic.i stayed at an incredible lodge in Cotopaxi,very fancy but cheap in comparison to the USA.then,i spent 2 more days in Quito,Old town again,this time at areally nice b and b. i didnt need any stomach rx,or i thought lol.after 2 days,i decided i didnt need anything.then,way out in cotopaxi,World WAR 3 was declared on my digestive system!!and,it was too late to buy your recomended stomach meds lol.but,it went away.and,i was able to hike up to 16,000 feet! it was amazing,and i already want to go back.
