Dr Nasseh… I thought the panel idea would be boring… it was not at all! Dr Fida was straight to the point : no unnecessary bla bla . The beginning of your video said “ for those nerdish of you”…. I finally found myself, thanks to you…. HAHAHA Please keep these series coming. Highly appreciated. Dr Atme

Stephane Simon’s work (and others) shows favorable histology under our newer biomaterials. Interestingly, the ESE and ASE differ in their position statements on VPT regarding caries removal. The AAE advocates complete caries removal, whereas ESE allows for step-wise excavation and similar approaches.

You are right. The ESE and AAE Disagree. I actually agree with the AAE position; but the ESE position might be more practical considering the fact that most people don't have adequate isolation during these procedures. Cheers!

Thank you very much. Recently I have been asked more often : "Do you use Lasers in your practice". Would be great to hear you thoughts or an article review on the subject.

calcium silicate cements show lower incidences of calcification than trad materials. Proprioception was not mentioned as benefit of retaining vital pulp. The increasingly us being considered an important factor in fracture resistance.

That’s also true. That work was done at NYU I believe demonstrating that. But I’m not sure how clinically significant that is in terms of real world application and if confounding factors such as loss of tooth structure prior to endo was factored in when comparing the two groups. It’s an interesting discussion though. Cheers!
