On a scale of 1 to 10 how much pain a patient can feel after flare ups. My dentist did my root canal then re root canal, still I'm feeling discomfort and sometimes like twice a day I feel a wave of pain in my ear.
Hi Sania, sorry to hear that. The pain can range from 1 to 10 and it depends on various factors including patient's pain threshold levels. Take analgesics if the pain is unbearable after consulting your dentist and it's only a temporary problem; you have nothing to worry about. The problem is I'm still feeling dull ache and discomfort since 1 month. They said everything is ok. They did my x ray again too. Three canals are visible only while on my first visit they told me you have 4 canals so have to pay more for that. I don't have the hard copy of my x ray. They did my multiple dressings after my 1st visit of re root canal treatment. At every visit different dentist attended me. May be they have missed one canal or may be there is an perforation because my previous dentist told me.. mam we have extended the filling (files) size. That's why you're feeling pain. I left that dentist and switched to different one.

Now Whenever I visit him.. just after a single glimpse he started to say..." thek han thek han ap, apna dehan bataein. Hi Sania, sorry to hear about your troubles. I suggest you to just enquire and visit an experienced dentist in your country and I am sure there are many. Whether it's Pakistan or any other country in this world, we are basically humans and human tendencies are the same throughout more or less.
