If it's a primary tooth we prefer ZOE to CaOH. ZOE is resorbable and moreover CaOH is not indicated in deciduous teeth as it stimulates odontoclasts leading to internal resorption.

On the other hand, Curve lock or Taper lock is a phenomenon seen in tapered instruments when canal cross section is smaller than the non-cutting tip of the instrument. It can be prevented by performing adequate coronal enlargement and also by manually establishing glide path before using rotary instrumentation.
