A day sail from the Warmies in Williamstown with three boats from the Wooden Boat Association: Ysolde a Stornoway 18, Tosh a Little Tern, and Derry a Skerry. Not fantastic weather forecast, but a fantastic sail, complete with an encounter with the T28 seal, an energetic pod of dolphins, a trial mooring at Ferguson St Pier (tip: don't use the landing bay if you are in a small boat ... there are no ladders and its a long way up), fish and chips for lunch, and an interesting tour through the wonderful and weird boats moored at swing moorings in Hobsons Bay. A fantastic day on the water. We coined a new term: "Endolphins" for the feel good hormones that are stimulated by close encounters with dolphins.
