At first I thought it was DivKid from the thumbnail and clicked through but then heard the voice… Woo! More modular from you! I definitely need to get a new case to get this module though. Sounds 👌
Nice! This really seems to be a nice modernized eurorack version of drum machines like the classic CR-78 with some cool performance features! Thanks for the video!
I recently purchased blck_noir and have found an annoying amount of noise when coming out of both the mono combined mix & the stereo mix with effects. I don’t have this noise when coming out of individual outs. I love the unit otherwise, but now find myself not using the mono mix or stereo mix outs. Love your informative videos! Keep up the great work 👍👍
dang, this goes onto my shopping list. exactly what I needed. I wonder if there are similar alternatives that I should consider before taking the leap.
It might be a little strange, but I tend to throw these videos on in the background while I am doing housework. Something about Andrew's voice combined with him making a beat in the video is just so comforting and relaxing to me.
Agreed. Although, towards the end of this video they modulate it which shows some variation: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9ySLHWQkSzs.html
That was an interesting point Andrew! The difference in between live playing and vanilla composing. It would be great to know your opinions on this difference from an UX point of view. What are, and why, the best machines provide a desirable workflow for live playing for example.
nice..but why didn't they add a pitch cv to a bassdrum channel?!! For me it means one channel is not usable at all unfortunately :( I personally need more harder (trancy) kicks by sending external fast and snappy envelope to pitch cv input, and its internal pitch env amount is weak it seems...sadly...but overall I am sure techno freaks will love it :)
Cool video. My black noir is way too low in volume. I have looked everywhere for a solution to no avail. Any advice? Does anybody know what I am doing wrong? Thank.
