The first song really captivated me. I love how unique this video is, combo videos are usually dubstep or something really upbeat, but this kinda shows a more beautiful side of melee.

This goes to show how much good editing makes a difference. It feels fresh and you can tell the creator invested themselves into it. Even though I've seen all these clips before, I would rather wait and have 1 video of this caliber come out twice a year than be flooded with 20 other low-quality montages that are simply put together for the views, as is the current state. I don't usually show friends general (non-character specific) montages because they are all bad. Now I will. Anything less than this quality is unacceptable. Bravo.

Been around this scene for a good while and this might be my favorite combo video. A little taste of everyone and damn was it sweet. Best editing I've seen with smash too. I think you just understand how gameplay can't be tempered with but only in those oh so rare moments can it be slowed down to show the true feeling behind that final hit. Thanks for that Dude, this video brought me back to the best part of smash.

I was recently thinking that combo videos have gotten pretty trash recently. Its like the average value of combo videos has gone down and down, its pitiful. Combo videos used to inspire me and motivate me, I missed that. Then I saw this video. Thank you for making this.

I like how you went with the simple borders instead of just keeping the ones from the tournies. It is nice to have the original ones if you recognize them but it also distracts from the gameplay to have those loud borders, so nice creativity on that! Nice music and great flow!

don't agree with the music choice, and combo's were just taken from random tournaments, but oh my god that editing was amazing. one of my favorite combo videos in a long time. recently people started getting cheap by just overlaying music onto gameplay and calling it a combo video, but you can clearly see the effort that went into this.

this is one of the wonderful things of the melee scene growing, not saying the creator of this video is new to the scene but this is very reminiscent of call of duty montage editing so as melee grows we get more people from other scenes and that means more styles of editing which means more awesome combo videos or just better editing so great job on this video hopefully this style carries on to be a normal way to edit combo videos!

Can you clue me in on how you did the motion tracking for 00:26 on Peach? I know how to track the keys but I can't figure out how to keep the object in the center of the frame. Using AE CS6

there's no way for me to prove it from what we see. but when i saw that clip I think he just recorded that himeself. using melee's camera debug options. I've seen other high quality combo vids edit in their own footage that they captured.
