Yellow needs so many cards looked at. OP-07 has shown in Japan that Yellow has reached a point that the color itself is just too insane. It's crazy to me how Franky wasn't even leader locked to Vegapunk.
I mean, here's my take. The game is changing and for the people who don't keep up won't win games. Since the new set, I haven't won a single game with the old cards. They are trying to balance the game with more powerful cards but I don't think they realize that they made the once powerful decks that needed balancing even more powerful. I thought I had an answer for enel but then I didn't. Prior to the new set, I only beat enel once. Now I don't think I can keep up. But that's mostly because I haven't explored the new cards too much. I personally feel like the only way I can improve is by learning how the new decks run and how I can adapt to that. Onami and Yamato was supposed to be the answer to the heavy yellow triggers. Which now that I think about it, fortress Yamato doesn't sound so bad now that I think about it.
Yellow does everything in the games, banishes, rushes, trigeers, botomdeck, destroys, double attacks, heals, rests. i think is one of thones instances where it seems they did not desing the color very well.
@@nathanyoung4182 it doesnt have bottomdeck, it bottomlifes, dunno both katakuri and havenlyfire can remove un KObles that no every color can deal with.
Enel and Katakuri are taking it by storm. Mainly Enel, as Franky and 10c Ace are just insane in Enel. Yellow in general needs a looking at, as it's not just a couple cards being problematic. It's a ton.
The Enel player would have won… he triggered Amaru when that’s the exact card he needed to go for game next turn.. Reject + Amaru and that Moria was dead!

@@heartpiratestcgBege, onami, Amaru, reject, limit Big Mom. Bege just shouldn't exist. The way it can just win games by existing, on top of being a 2k. Onami gives banish and is a thunderbolt. Reject I feel is just a poorly designed card Big Mom is not that high on the list, I feel a restriction is best case. It's still searchable, but could reduce the likelihood of getting back to back 10s dropped on you. Added Amaru because I think the 2c 3k counters are poorly designed, including hound blaze
@@heartpiratestcg what the guy below said. My biggest issue is it seems yellow is being given the outs to everything but no other color has a cheap banish effect like yellow, or the 2 cost 3k power etc. not healthy long term and it’s forced me to play yellow in op06
