The hindsight is a painful 20/20. Is the mainstream media simply going to apologize and return to business as usual or will there be sincere, thoughtful efforts in covering and reporting in 2024? You can guarantee there will be plenty of spectacles starting with the Republican Primaries. So, how will the media avoid the temptation of covering the sensationalism, and theater? And how do we reunite journalist integrity as a whole considering companies like Fox News, OAN and the like have no interests in reporting with integrity which significantly perpetuates the ongoing divide in the country? Realistically, we're looking at years of correcting the errors of the past. Hopefully we get the opportunity to make that correction. Good work, Retro Report. 💯
The moment I watched HBO 1978 and the drift to news supported by ratings, I predicted the end of, at the least, the PRETENSE of objectivity in reporting. I have never been so disappointed my prediction was right on. Just devastates me.

The last scene of this Doc of him holding the bible was the nail in the coffin of him losing. I 100% believe that.
