AleXa is a K-pop artist and winner of America Song Contest 2022 (raised in Oklahoma and a US citizen). AleXa's part was filmed in South Korea where she was when the video was being created. Enemy is from League of Legends Arcane series and AleXa is in character of Jinx the lead in the Arcane series.

I’m also a patron of Pattycake Productions, and in a Zoom chat Layne and Tony told us they really weren’t interested in doing the same thing over and over, even if it meant more content. They want to learn new techniques and push themselves with each new video. I’m sure that Layne, Geoff and Eli feel the same about arrangements for VoicePlay. Which is why they keep getting better.

So far no one seems to agree with me but I swear I hear lions in there. I've heard those low rumbles in wildlife films. LOL I understand that AleXa approached Voiceplay and requested to make a video with them. She was in South Korea where she is now based so was recorded and filmed there and added to the video.

Just wait-some upcoming video we’re going to hear Cesar and Eli doing outrageous sound effects. One reason I just love these guys is they are not resting on their laurels-they’re digging deep and finding new ways to up their game. As for Alexa I did check out the song that won the contest for her-it’s pretty good! So yeah, if you want to, check it out! Great reaction, Dennis! Thanks!

There are several versions of Wonderland filmed...if you want her natural voice, avoid the one for ASC Qualifiers, they mixed the backing vocals in too heavy for broadcast purposes. Finals is best, or the performance MV if you want the cleanest vocals.

That was Layne with the inhaled based. He did that at the end of You Don't Talk About Bruno. These guys just keep pushing the edge. I love them. Great review. And every reviewer asks the same question, how do they just keep getting better. Don't know but I sure enjoy it.

Love your reactions...and am in total agreement with your feelings about VoicePlay. They never cease to amaze 😊. Arcane League of Legends is an animated series on Netflix and from what I understand AleXa was the winner of the American Song Contest..she reached out to the group wanting to work with them. I hope she does another collaboration with them...she fits in and complements them so well. Love to see you do a reaction to oldie from Voice Play called The Bones featuring Emoni Wilkins...a very haunting song (has J. None in it as well). Again well done 👍

Hi, I appreciated, as usual, your reaction. Did you know that the singer was not with them, she was inserted in the video? After "dont talk about bruno", they quickly follow up with "Enemy". For those who follow them, they will have noticed that the group of 4 regulars of VOICEPLAY integrates elements that have served them before. We find aspects of "Dream on" (geoff who drops the voice), "don't talk about bruno" (where Layne growls at the end)...

Worth the wait amiright?!? New merch: "Oh, My . . . Wow?!?" on t-shirts! The "bang" was Geoff, the snort sound was Layne but I'm not sure if it was strictly an ingressive phonation, I think it's more like a movement of air over the soft palate and uvula forcing it back and forth between the top of the throat and the nasal cavity. Actually easier to do than to explain. Not that it's easy to do and make sound soooooo cool like Layne makes it. Glad you didn't peek into the Patreon early release on this one! Awesome reaction, and happy for you to have had some quality family downtime!

They are all wonderful in this. If you are interested in checking out more Alexa, my favorite MV of hers is Revolution. Her winning song is Wonderland. There is performance video of it, which is safe to react to. The broadcast performances may or may not be blocked.
