This is a project inspired by the amazing ⁠@Knp so make sure to check them out aswell!
What if secret life had an opening sequence? I asked myself while watching the finale. As a huge arcane and Minecraft lover I wanted to try and link these two shows together and ended up with this amazing project. I tried to fit every character in but in the end, the storyline of the animation didn’t fit the number of creators/characters this time. This is my second ever full animation so I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it! :D

I really like how this references the Arcane intro; this song will always be about Double Life Scarlet Pearl for me, but this is so well animated.

Double life pearl will always own this song and that’s a fact!! I feel like this trailer version is kind of a character development from double life for pearl as she’s not the ‘jinx’ anymore but the big sister who’s been through it all and trying to guide the little sister (gem) who turns crazy (boogie curse)! 🤔

This is insanly good- the lighting and animation is so well done, the shadows over a lot of the characters, the wing outline on jim- terribly underrated.

DUDE! This is so well done! I kept saying "holy crap, this is so good, with every new frame/character appearance. Love the accuracy of all the poses from the original Arcane opening and how every Life series character fits in with the original vibes. Top tier! That use of afterimages in the end with the watcher eye was BRILLIANT! I had no idea it was so smushed together and intended to be superimposed by the mind until I went frame-by-frame. Genius!

I'm still shocked by the quality of these kinds of animations :) Might have been cool if in the last shot of Scar and Pearl Scar had Jellie beside him to mirror Pearl's wolf, but that's me trying to pick holes in a steel wall :P
