Hello! :) I wanted to share this video with you since summer 2013 (talk about a throw back ♥). In this video I was doing some energy and crystal healing for Darryl on his injured leg, in addition to the physical therapy his doctor prescribed. We had a really fun and relaxing time! It is a very simple and nostalgic video, a true lo-fi experience that I hope some of you will enjoy :)

It's kind of weird to think that was 6 years ago. It seems like yesterday. I was scrolling through and saw the thumbnail and thought 'oh, I don't think I've seen this before, looks a bit older', but then I saw the date. Quite the time capsule. :) Anyway, time to sleep! :D

Because 1) people are lazy af. Can't even take the time to read a few sentences. 2) they think their opinion\comment is special or important even though it may have been written a 100 times. Aka my mommy said my opinion matters so I have to blast it everywhere. So even if they read a comment saying the same thing they are about to write, they feel the need to comment. Everyone likes to say this is the internet with behavior like this. More like this is typical human behavior in general. Especially, for the younger crowd.

I do not know what it is, but these older videos have "better" sound than the new ones. Not in terms of quality, but somehow this "worse" quality of the sound makes the ASMR better for me personally. I guess nowadays most vids are incredibly focused on ASMR sounds while these older vids still have at least a small whiff of unintentional sounds... cant describe it.

It's that ambient sound in the back that fills in the silence. That's what I hear at least. Higher quality ASMR is too quiet when there is no absolute sound.

this is also somewhat unintentional which makes it better as well. we know maria is doing in intentionally but this comes across as one of the crystal healing videos that aren't necessarily going for asmr. unintentional always the best.

Yes I think that’s it- even though it’s intentional, the older, less produced videos and sound have that “unintentional ASMR” quality. Which I feel like is how we remember authentically experiencing asmr in real life vs finding it on RU-vid (which is intentional). If that makes sense.

Even though I don’t personally believe crystals or calling on the universe helps heal a person, I still find it interesting and learn about it through your videos. It’s a really nice thought that we could channel the universe to help us. I hope Darryl’s leg healed ok!

Your soft spoken videos are exponentially better than most of the ASMR videos out there (in my opinion). It seems that most artists use the more breathy whispering, which unfortunately just doesn't do it for me. I seem to have the biggest responses from the regular day to day interactions and your videos have that natural and unintentional feel to them. Thank you for your videos 🙏🙏🙏 You are a gem. 💎

I love these energy healing videos... imo there is not enough of them. I love the healing sprays with crystals etc, just watching people gently talking whilst spraying that stuff into the air and watching it gently fall onto their client only to do it again and again is just insanely relaxing. ❤️ I’ve been here since 2012 and you’re fab, I miss videos like this and the community is really lacking nowadays in good quality videos and raw content with mics that don’t pick up every little noise. I’m sick of hearing repetitive words, horrible mouth sounds and tongue clicking, and with so many of the good OG creators being replaced by cheap substitutes, it’s hard to want to sit through ASMR videos anymore. Oh Maria, this reminds me of the towel folding tutorial so much! It was the first ASMR video I've ever watched way back then, and I was instantly hooked. It's amazing to see how much you and ASMR in general have changed in these past years. You're going to be a mom soon! How kick-ass is that?! I totally get you! I loved her older videos because they weren't as clean and crisp as they are now. This one is much more like her older videos. Kind of reminds me of the purse show and tell video she made. Much more lip smacking

this to me is THE best kind of ASMR. softly spoken instead of whispered, some sort of low cut filter, white noise. simply wonderful. i miss her first videos so much! (and this is why i follow lovetodayASMR and others who still keep it lo-fi)
