Your energy is defiantly INFP. INFPs are great. I hope you know that you can develop your functions/personality. Be carful not to supress your true personality. As an INFJ I am so envious of INFPs for so many reasons the way you can express yourselves is astounding to us. But I know that your iF can be a real burden. If you truly think you are an INFJ, you may like to watch the videos by 'Below the Radar Above the System'. Her mission is to help INFJs develop to their fullest potential. But I personally think you are a very well developed INFP who could help other INFPs with the burden of their iF. A thousand blessings.
ENFP here - one of my best friends is an INFJ, but I've also had the pleasure of date several INFJ women. Note the awkward singular grammar for the "date" singular. I'm trapped in a hell where me and INFJs have amazing chemistry that goes off like a nuclear reaction. But then I strike a single nerve, a single miscommunication in a text message or Facebook post and the INFJ ghosts me. It's frustrating but I'm hoping there's an INFJ out there that doesn't go to 'Silent Treatment' on the very first challenge that comes up - she's out there!
Wow, I knew an INFJ that actually had very similar facial movements and speech cadence to you.... interesting... I love how you look around the room when you talk... you've got a great understanding of ENFPs.... Thanks for the video :-)
Abigail Schwaig It really is a great film, who doesn't like Jim Carrey? Truman is also my middle name, which has led me to really appreciate that movie :)
I liked this video. Made sense from my(INFP) standpoint. I have had friendships and dates with both INFJs and ENFPs and I think they are both pretty strong souls. . Ps are the envy of Js because Js need sheep. Js are the envy of Ps because they(`Ps) need a shepherd ...but neither of these types compliment the other in romantic capacities with respect to those roles. If there were a match made there, the J would disappear from society. ENFPs are so fun I might add!
Thankyou so much abigail...This gave me alot more confidence as an ENFP. I feel/pickup on alot of people getting jealous of me because I am so free and outspoken, and always create fun and laughter wherever I am. I must be hanging with the wrong crowd who bring me down with their negative emotions towards me. It's nice to hear the good things about my personality type. :) Everything you mentioned was smack bang hit the nail on the head. Wish I could find some INFJ's to hang with, or even a partner. Does anyone know any forum site I can find to chat with other like minded people? It can be frustrating having all these point of views and opinionated strong ideas, but not much people understanding you. Hopefully it just happens as the world unfolds and I draw them towards me. First of all, you are adorable. And this is coming from a fellow INFJ. Second, yes, I would generally find your assertion that the INFJ and ENFP should remain "just friends" to be agreeable. Agreeable... but! I fell (or am?) in love with an ENFP. She is the wildest creature I've ever met. And while I can already foresee a "mere" friendship being a beautiful, lovely thing, it is not enough. Not for me. And here is the existential pain all INFJs feel, deep down! That one of the strongest possibilities of what could be, or what simply may be, is not! What is a mere possibility that is never actualized... THIS PAIN! I am devouring, and I am sick of not attaining my dreams. This was always an issue for me, something I've realized over the past few years as I've matured into adulthood. What is meant to be, will be, right? So I will take, and I will devour, and I will attain the things I set my very soul to or burn to death in the process, but I care not! The phoenix always rises from its own ashes. If this wild, dangerous ENFP does not return feelings of mutual romance, I would rather let it die, and would rather live with the pain of ignorance, to watch the golden bridge burn, than settle for a "mere" friendship. The choice is mine, of which kind of pain to choose! And I know how to suffer well, how to suffer silently. Luckily for me, there are more fish in the sea, more cats in the abyss. ;) You are adorable... but I already said that.

I actually think ENFP and INFJ is one of the best combinations romantically and this is backed up by other MBTI enthusiast. However INFJ are rare so I have never found one. I have mostly ENFP friends and flakyness is the the theme sometimes and criticism is like I'm a hipocrit, nothing ever gets done. there are other types too and much variety within type depending on enneagam type and there are allot of contradictions of which are the best relationships between typology systems. So as I have ENFP preferences I'm going to be open minded for a relationship with any type. Great video in general tho, there is truth there.
You've hit the nail straight on the head! I wish I knew a male INFJ who shared my values, but sadly, I do not :/ It's interesting though, since INFJs are so particular, they can be the same type but have radically different viewpoints on social issues. Both INFJs will hold tight to their individual ideologies and will not compromise, for that would be an unforgivable "sin". So, sometimes even when INFJs come in contact with other INFJS, they can get really turned off of each other due to their fierce devotion to opposing creeds.
Abigail Schwaig That's quite true. I also think that there are INFJs that don't necessarily recognize other INFJs as their fellows because they don't share the same values. But I think it's only an appearence, they share the same values in fact but they think small differences in tastes for instance mean everything. If they took time to know each other, I think they would acknowledge the fact that they have more things in common than they think. After all, they are the same type, so they are supposed to think the same way, therefore they will eventually find that they will find more comprehension from each other than from someone else.
ToStand I see where you're coming from. As INFJs they would have to share the same cognitive functions and mental processes. And there would be much comfort and general understanding of what the other person needs and wants. But the thing is, if the other person doesn't share your ideology and traditions but is still the same type, how safe do you feel to open up to them emotionally/romantically? We know both INFJs would feel the same way about their personal values(deeply committed), but what if they are opposed? Such as a Liberal versus a Conservative? They may have respect for each others convictions for their own causes(one can hope), but they will never agree on certain social topics. It's not easy to share your deepest self with someone who can't or won't value your lifestyle and choices to the same extent, because that is the essence of you.

I think that one or the other could eventually change his mind and agree with the Liberal idea or the Conservative one. I don't know, I don't have enough experience on that, but what you said is right, in a sense.
Nope, I steadily test as an INFJ. It's easy to think I'm an extrovert because I make and post youtube videos, but INFJs have the funny tendency to come across as extroverts due to their Extroverted Feeling and preoccupation with saving the world :)
Yeah as a fellow INFJ and being warm and genuinely wanting to meaningfully connect to people, I often also get confused with being an extrovert. But when I'm feeling drained/overstimulated and need to shut down, I shut down >_
It's tough getting people to recognize your natural need to recharge when you constantly act peppy to please everyone else. But we INFJs can get better at it with practice! I agree, when you hit the invisible wall, there's nothing you can do...
raidenx147 Haha it sounds like you're an extrovert at heart! What type are you? It definitely happens in stress-filled situations, but it even happens when spending time with close friends and relatives. The very meaning of introversion vs extroversion is that introverts get replenished by reflection and solitude (prefer being alone) while extroverts get replenished by social interaction and excitement (prefer having company). Your energy style explains whether you're an introvert or an extrovert.
