I noticed that they don't post about bts anymore.. even this one, we know bts is number 1 but there is no video, why is that? if this is a hybe move (for copyright issues),, its a bad move! I hope they don't gatekeep bts and make it that they don't appear outside of their (hybe) content, people (not army) will not go out of their way to find bts content, sometimes its good to include them in these kind of videos and shows!
@@paparika-jr7cu i have no idea if it's true or not but i can explain why a company WOULDNT be ok with their artist appearing in this video. basically any video about, for example, bts, any video about them, of them, mentioning them, anything, will get views = money. in other words, hybe makes money off of bts because they own them. if someone uses bts' name to endorse something, appear in their show, whatver, they have to pay hybe either for their appearance fee or copyright to use their songs or names or whatever. These types of vague contents like entertainment news can kind of get away with using big star names for clicks without having to worry about copyright or paying for it. still, imagine if anyone could use bts's name for anythign, use their songs whenevr they like and earn money off their names. it devalues bts's worth because their name can be slapped onto anything. also, if bts appears on free streaming platforms like youtube from this channel, who is going to pay for any of hybes exclusive content on weverse or whatever they have? hybe would only want bts to appeaar on THEIR shows and THEIR platforms, because thats how they make money and make bts more valuable. okay, tldr, you can't just use famous people's names for views/money. you have to pay a copyright fee or its potentially illegal, these types of news shows can kind of get away with it cause their use of bts's name is vague. OP is probably saying that hybe has told this show they can't use bts's name in their segments because they dont have permission.
