That delusion at the beginning wouldn't happen bc those two would instantly go into tsundere mode xD Also love how Mayuri sees through both of them when they say the gift isn't for the other
Dammit Mayuri is too pure and perfect for this world. She's loved Okabe all her life yet happily ships him and Kurisu, even though it means she can never have him.
Mayuri enjoys being with Okabe but she can't catch up to Okabe's pace. His suffering and the grand conspiracies of alternating world lines is too much for Mayuri. She can't really support him as much Kirisu would since Okabe and Kirisu pretty much saved/completed one another.
Mayuri likes okabe but her romantic attraction towards okabe is really mild.... She simply loves him and it doesn't have to be romantic love..... She must not have thought about those relationship.
How come someone created this couple so well that me, without watching the anime, fell in love with them?? I just spent half an hour LISTENING to a DRAMA CD of a show I have never watched a full episode of!
She actually is! She's the most sensible out of all the lab members & someone who understands other human beings a lot better. Everyone else are socially inept. Kurisu, Okabe, Daru, Ruka, Moeka, Suzuha, Maho had their own vulnerabilities to deal with. Faris is pretty good to deal with people in general, but Mayuri is the best. She maybe an airhead to the scientific endeavours of the lab, but she's perfect in everything else & is infact smart, even if she seems dumb.
@@namelessmonster2583 average IQ, high EQ. The role of people with high EQ, is underrated in society when compared to pure intellect, but they are the clue that puts the social in society.
I like the part where MAyushii sets a trap to Okabe without realice but he still retreats in time thanks to an unusual common sense manifestation (dodged the swimsuit store)
MAYURI OUT HERE PLAYIN GAMES W OKABE TRYNA GET THE THOUGHT OF KURISU HALF NAKED IN HIS HEAD DIS GRILL IS BUCKWILD; everyone gangsta till Mayuri starts playing matchmaker
mayuri was such a third wheel in this lmao xD. it’s so satisfying to watch this after finishing the anime, especially watching it in chronological order. okabe rightfully deserves a happy life with kurisu and his friends after going through all that shit.
@@scruber64_ yea, very perceptive She may not be smart enough to make a time machine out of a microwave, but she's perceptive enough to see the bigger picture
@@stray_cat87 True. She has the most understanding when it comes to emotions. She knows that Okabe is quietly suffering for her without him saying a thing. Also, she's the first to figure out who Suzuha's father is. She's not as ditzy as Okabe usually describes her, just a bit childish for her age
Something like that, I'd imagine. For some reason she has a hard time with the normal pronunciation of some names and to demonstrate in translations, they're spelled differently but roughly convey a similar enough name that it doesn't really matter. For non-Japanese speakers, this is as close as we'll get to understanding some verbal tics the characters have, like Faris transforming some words into NyanNyanian.
Japanese doesn't have equivalent morphemes to verbalize Chris. Chris is a common name in America. But it becomes Kurisu when transliterating to Japanese and back to English. Chris is probably the more accurate pronunciation. I'm not sure about Makise.
That was incredibly quick! I watched it yesterday. Thanks for posting. It's actually helping my Japanese listening skills a lot too personally. Keep up the good work!
The Deja Vu movie. It's where Okabe disappears and Kurisu is the only one who can remember him. So she went back in time to fix that. She was also Okabe's first kiss (way before Moeka) and she gave Okabe the Hououin Kyouma persona.
