【Synopsis】Born into a scholarly family, Huang Yimei grew up carefully sheltered, displaying artistic talent from a young age. Upon entering the workplace, she meets Zhuang Guo Dong and they fall in love, but they eventually separated by the pressures of life. These experiences helped Huang Yimei to have a clearer plan for her life, deciding to return to school for further education. After graduation, she married her senior, Fang Xiwen. However, this marriage is unfortunately doomed to end as their careers lead them down vastly different roads. Huang Yimei started her own business in the field of art curation, she meets her soulmate, Pu Jia Ming. However, Pu Jia Ming is terminally ill and only has a few months left to live. Their love story ultimately ended with a farewell in life and death. Despite her grief and pain, she ultimately chooses to look forward to the future, living out her life in the fullest and most dazzling fashion.

Liu Yifei gave an amazing performance.🏆 She's beautiful and talented. The writer, director and cast were all awesome. 终于来了！期待已久！刚刚看完欲望城市，正好对约会男女关系有各种看法，然后看看国内的婚姻恋爱观，养眼还可以感受各种恋爱状态，不错，特别是关芝芝的那种为了结婚而结婚的想法，好可笑。不过太多女人都是这样委屈的活着，哎，还是单身好，比较安全

I was laughing my head off at the goofiness in the opening half ! Ah well, since Crystal Liu / Liu Yifei 🥰❤and Lin Gengxin 🥰❤, Lin Yi 🥰❤, Peng Guanying 🥰❤, Wallace Huo /Huo Jianhua 🥰 .... are in this, I will give it a go. Doubling my time with The Double (one ep only today) for this Rose. 🌹 Synopsis is too revealing? One thing to bear in mind, this is a rare drama without a proper ML. Everything revolves around FL and ladies.

Nevertheless, she traveled back at 15 to attend Beijing Film Academy from which she graduated in 2006. Since then, and even before, she played in many dramas and movies both in China and Hollywood, changing to her present stage name Liu Yifei /Crystal Liu, and earning nickname Fairy Sister by her fans since 2003 after her role as "Wang Yuyan" in an adaptation of Louis Cha's Demi Gods and Semi Devils, and next in 2005 as "Zhao Ling'er" in Chinese Paladjn (adaptation of the RPG Legend of Sword and Fairy). Her skills and fame caught the attention of director Bille August who calls her familiarly as Xixi, and she starred in his movie The Chinese Widow. Her later role as Hua Mulan was caught at release in a controversy at time of release in 2020, about her outspokenness both against rioters in Hong kong, boycott of Chinese cotton, and depicting herself as Asian rather than Chinese. Her TV and film appearances are still very appreciated, as she can play in many different registers, as she again showed in 2022 drama A Dream of Splendor, 2023 healing drama Meet Yourself, and now 2024 story of a woman from her early 20s to her 40s in Story of Rose. In that one, "Huang Yimei"is 22 when she starts her career as art curator, and meets her first love. It will not pan out, and neither will Huang Yimei's next marriage, but it is nevertheless not a sad story but one of resilience. (Info from Wikipedia - I have watched all of the above films and dramas and liked them: Liu Yifei is distinctive and plays beautifully in memorable works ; she is not very prolific but when something of hers comes out, it is always remarked).
