Not completely true. First, none of us should assume their sexual orientation at all. Gay/Straight/Bi or whatever. But, I have thought about this too and honestly, not every BL couple is convincing as a thing. For example, the BL couples on many Thai drama, despite the fact that they fan service us to madness, I don't ship at all. I think the reason why some ( I of course can't say all ) people believe there are feeling present are due to the actors actions off screen when a camera shouldn't be rolling or when they are caught off guard. I sincerely try to leave BL relationships at the door. But these two don't do fan service, pretty obvious taboo since they are from homophobic China and would be banned, or censored or freaking flogged, who the heck knows...? It takes a lot, for me at least, to think there might be more than friendship. They have shown us hints at much more than friendship. It could just be simply a VERY good friendship at the end of the day, but as long as it doesn't hurt anyone it's okay to dream. Most of us aren't de lu lu idiots and will look for validation but there are those who are nuts. But just know not all of us are.

@@mideagarza7615 I imagine they see most of it. They are both always on their phone and both have social media including instagram for us international folks. They have to get tagged on the daily! I think if it bothered them, they would act bothered rather than smiling, giving thumbs up and being generally very kind and sometimes shy. They are not doormats though, when fans do things they don't like, they very quickly show their displeasure. XZ has physically turned his back to rude fans and Yibo allegedly is taking legal action against some that have been doing bad things so it isn't out of fear of appearing bad in our eyes. If they don't like something, they express it plainly and the couple stuff has yet to be shot down by either of them. At least as of yet. Also technically this series wasn't BL so they are not considered BL actors. Of course anyone who read the novel knows better. Just don't tell China. LOL
