A devastating earthquake has occurred in Xichuan. Lawyer Luo Ben has gone to the disaster-stricken area to look for his younger sister Luo Yuan. It's there that he comes into contact with the rescue unit under the leadership of Captain Qing Shan. Luo Ben also encounters Zhan Yan with whom he's had bad blood with in the past. However, he soon changes his mind about her as he comes to admire her selflessness and brilliance as a doctor. Luo Ben bears witness to the people's sense of camaraderie in the face of adversity and becomes deeply inspired by the volunteer efforts. Luo Ben along with Xiong Fei, Zhou Min Ming and Ding Ding Ding are the new recruits to the team. They survive Captain Qing Shan's "training from hell" and put their lives on the line in every rescue and disaster relief operation that pits them against earthquakes, fires, floods and typhoons. At the end of the day, they finally grow into an elite rescue unit.

As an oldest sister I understand luo ben’s feelings . While I want to support his sister’s relationship she is too unreasonable and stubborn . He didn’t stop her from dating ( the confrontation he did to xiong fan is what every protective sibling would do ) she can maintain a long distance relationship but no , she had to give up her chance for love . But what I agree is he needs to talk with her , make her understand instead of forcing her

it's easy. because he treated her like a slave. She's not 5, she's an adult with feelings and can make her own decisions. what he did is just selfish. You can't make someone happy by force and he thinks what he decides is right. even if in the final it turns out that Yuan will be with her boyfriend, what her brother has done now will leave a mark in the psyche :( :(

Instead of forcing his sister, he should have talked. I understand his concerns because I too shout at my little brother when I see him making mistakes as I did, but over time I figured out I can make him sit with me and make him understand my point of view and at the same time listen to him too!

I don't understand why lots of people are condemning the ML. The Luo's have been waiting for Yuan Yuan admission and when she got it she kept her brother in the dark. When he asked her if she's heard from the school she lied to him. If you're a elder sibling/ a parent figure in this situation what would you do? I don't stand against Fei and Yuan's relationship. Let's get facts straight, Yuan and Fei can always be in a relationship whiles she study abroad. She going there doesn't mean their relationship is ending or something! I'm pretty sure Xiong Fei wouldn't be happy that Yuan gave up her study bcus of him.

I don't understand thos blaming Luo Ben. His sister's basically throwing away her life for "love". Would you let your loved one do that? Look if she let her dream fly away, with a man who can barely make a living, without her brother, her life as a princess will be over. Plus she has a disability which will make it harder. She really shouldn't have done that.

We are on episodes 18 not once have I seen her really appreciate thankful for all his years in taking care of her. She fine him a nuisance in her life what an ungrateful person she is.

In this drama I prefer yuan and Xiao fei relationship to Lu ben and zhe yan 😅, for me the main lead has no chamistry, especially with zhe yan character here, but I like her macth to zheng ye cheng

@@noone6596this drama i did watch 2 times already, since I like yuan and xiao fei , also Zhao minh” and Zhe yian's cousin relatiinship, I skip most the main lead one. If you watch the other Zhe yan's (Janice wu) drama such le coup de foudre, skate into lobe, the Brightest star in the sky, an oriental odyssay, my amazing boyfriend, you will notice the big improving character. This is just my own opinion.

I'm not really into wu qian drama, i only watched my sunshine and this one, but i Watched more yunxi' drama, honestly for yunxi cp i prefer wuqian so far. if i'm not wrong, I read this drama is non romance, the directer just want to appreciate china rescue team through this drama, but still cp charachter give us emotion with them great acting, for me it is such inspiring and mature couple.

Zhan Yuan can't cook if not her fridge wouldn't be that dry. In that case, bread is a logical choice cuz it's easy to prepare - toast, sandwich. And he also bought beef and bananas.

@@omotenaaa Yes, but the point is unless you live in a climate that makes your bread mouldy in a day, don't put it in a fridge, bread in a fridge gets hard very, very quickly due to crystallization of the starches. Much faster than outside the fridge in a plastic bag. Also it looses flavour being cooled. It's better to freeze bread for storage and only thaw and toast if needed.

Luo Ben turns out to be an overbearing bastard :( :( he thinks he's doing it for her good and in fact he's healing his trauma. There is nothing brotherly love in what he did and locking her up and answering the phone is just plain bastard. not to mention that he violated her privacy by rummaging through her stuff. this is completely unacceptable :( :(

Even if u are in love, u should still have goals. If the love turns sour at least u didn't put ur life on standstill cuz of it. U can still achieve things. Why can't Xiong Fei wait for her if he really likes her. It's only in dramas that a man will respect u if u don't have a life outside him. Every time he calls, she picks. She always says things like "u can call anytime. I'm always available". It reeks of desperation and not having a life/aspirations. She should be more focused on her work, so many physically challenged people who don't have support are working so hard. If she didn't have Luo Ben, will her life be this carefree? She needs sense drilled into her. You can't drop everything for a relationship. That's dumb.

Also don't forget that he is a very successful lawyer that can also provide for his sister while the person he is in love with is also doing well with her career as a doctor. What does Luo Yuan have? What has she accomplished? What goals does she have for herself and why is he throwing it all in the trash cuz of a man? What has her man accomplished? How can he provide for their family in the future? Money problems is easily one of the ways to bring dissatisfaction to a family. Until Luo Yuan knows what she wants for herself she is too immature to be in a relationship.

Luo Yuan is dumb (and I don't mean because she can't speak). Why can't she focus on her career and pursue a man too? Xiong Fei's job can't take care of a family comfortably. She will need to pull her weight too. If she has a good career, she would be able to live on her own and also assist in the family if she marries Xiong Fei. It's common sense! Who says having live and a life has to be exclusive? Zuan Yan is working her ass off and also a volunteer for rescue and is falling in love! Why can't she also do that?! It's only in dramas that being stupid in live pays off. In rl, u will end up regretting it. Love is sweet when u don't have money troubles.
