Yeah Kito Akari is definitely one of many seiyuu that is really good at illustration. Total opposite of the 'unique' Minase Inori. Not surprising given how she was aiming for being an illustrator before.
Akarin has said she always thought she would become an illustrator, but right before graduating from high school, she was told by her parents that they could not afford to pay for her university education. She told herself that if she did not make it as a voice actress, she would become an illustrator instead.
I know she's good which is why I'd like to see the comparison. Well both her and Aoi Yuuki did draw in the Oregairu live event. I can say she can do speed drawing just fine.
I wonder if they were afraid Japan's version of Standards and Practices and their agencies would get mad at them for saying what they initially might have thought Akarin's drawing was supposed to be. If you get my drift.
