Please, let me kindly suggest you to ignore Pikachu's advice. Never been to India before? Then you must, and I mean must start from Mumbai. Landing in Mumbai at 5 a.m. as a first-timer, not knowing what to expect... Few other things can compare.

I solo backpacked in India for 24 days and it's one of the most memorable journeys I made. Too many stories. It's a LOVE-HATE relationship with this country. I HATE it so much at some point, But I LOVE it with so much conviction that when I hear unfair stereotypical comments from others about this country, I am ready to fight. Lol. India is Intense, People are damn amazing. Definitely a country I would go back again to visit!

Based from my friends' recommendations, pag nag-visit ka sa India (i.e. Delhi, Goa, Mumbai, Calcutta, Bangalore, Hyderabad, etc), dapat mag-pasama ka sa may alam sa lugar. Pero tapang mo, gogogo!!!! Nakatingin halos lahat, nyaaaa.... Jai Ho!!!! Love of culture and respect to others, so great.
Don't visit those overhyped & typical tourist places if u want surreal experience then visit what's underrated like Himalayan states, ladakh, kashmir, himachal, uttrakhand, Northeast states, Western ghats, beautiful temples in south, deserts in rajasthan, andaman & nicobar islands, also lakshdweep island.

Depends on what u want to explore, we are 1.4 billion people recorded and documented officially spreaded throughout so u will find various terrains, major cities are very crowded, a little dirty, little bit of scamsters , and full of hustle & bustle. for eg Mumbai, Delhi , Chennai, Hyderabad , Banglore , Pune ,Kolkatta ,Ahmedabad, surat , Baroda, Indore , Lucknow , Jaipur , Ludhiana , Amritsar , Chandigarh , all these are major and crowded cities, as job opportunities, remaining places are ok and relaxed ..
I've always thought and known India has a lot to offer. It's in my bucket list not only because we have Indians married to members of the family. Asians should be accepting of each other but it's not really the case especially many Filipinos are against Indians and vice versa. But the number of these immature people are tiny versus the good majority.

What's issue roaming around in India alone? I don't know what your media portraies this nation as but i just gotta tell you that please don't judge unless you have been there by yourself. Your media will only show what is beneficial to them and what will make them profit which is far different from the actual reality. That too for a nation as diverse as India? Just go and check-out your media and then vloggers reviews you'll find them mostly loving India specially who have visited in past 3 yrs bc the country has changed like crazy in these 3-4 yrs. The once who doesn't have a good experience, they just come here without educating themselves enough. If you come here and tryna get the cheapest hotel, cheapest food then obviously you'll get the similar quality as well and then they complain? Like how you expecting to get a luxurious experience at a minimal cost and that too when even the good hotels here are generally at a fraction of cost than the west.
