McLaren Artura is McLaren's first mass-produced gasoline-electric hybrid supercar. Unlike the McLaren P1 or Speedtail that appeared in the past, Artura's plug-in hybrid electric drive system is not a substantial boost for the gasoline engine. McLaren obviously wants to retain the proper characteristics of a gasoline engine super sports car, and more importantly, the handling feeling of a gasoline engine super sports car. Whether it is power output, braking response, or the hydraulic power assisted steering that McLaren has insisted on for many years, it is not affected by the electric system, truly commendable. The entire power system of McLaren Artura is a brand-new product, with a 3-liter V6 turbo engine plus plug-in hybrid, rear-wheel drive, and the first use of an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. If driving in pure electric mode, the longest mileage is 31 kilometers, the maximum speed is 130km/h, and the official average fuel consumption is 4.6L/100km (WLTP). Although in terms of specifications and performance, it is a little bit inferior to the Ferrari 296 GTB with similar mechanical specifications, but during the test drive, Lung Sir and Edmond Lau had a lot of fun, and Lung Sir couldn't put it down. He very much agrees that McLaren deliberately retained a delicate control feeling that people can enjoy for a long time. What kind of feeling they are talking about? Please watch the video.
