Well I used Water Spot Cleaner to remove the coating and water spots. The stubborn ones that didn't get removed, I will need to use abrasive compound
It's lucky I was able to remove it without compound
Note that it's mild alkaline. Alkaline dry quick and if it's left, it gets stained, so I think it will be difficult to apply under the sun
