💬Synopsis:
It tells the fateful reunion of twin sisters Cheng Ruo Yu and Chou Yan Zhi as they become involved in political affairs upon encountering the young emperor Li Yan.
The eunuchs have gained control of the palace during the reign of Emperor Wen Zong of Tang. Hoping to free the nation from their clutches, Emperor Wenzhong secretly plots to assassinate the head eunuch Chou Shi Liang, but their plan ends in utter defeat.
Prime minister Wang Ya's entire household is sentenced to death except for his granddaughter twins who barely escape death. The younger sister who is adopted by the Ziyi Bureau assumes the name Yu Bing Er. Determined to take revenge, the older sister changes her name to Yan Zhi and becomes Chou Shi Liang's goddaughter.
Seven years later, emperor Li Yan (Cheng Yi) ascends to the throne. Li Yan resorts to using the Ziyi Bureau to fight against Chou Shi Liang. As a result, the two sisters meet again as enemies unable to recognize their relation by blood.

Chengyi has a way of communicating with his facial expression. Honestly speaking he acted well in love and redemption,and I cried a bucket in that movie. Unlike some Chinese actors that can't express their emotions and you end up laughing at a very emotional scene.

I re-watched ALL 49 episodes in a week. This drama is well deserved every minute of my time with good characters, interesting stories, amazing themes, beautiful music/songs, and much more. All those who are starting to watch... this is a beautiful drama, all the actors gave their best... I think Zhang Yuxi's best one I feel, her acting is so good and like a fresh breath. The silly laugh she gave after revealing the end of story Yunzhi started to read, she reminds me of female version of Simon Gong.... facial features.. esp..! I just wanted to say this is the first Historical I’ve watch in a long time…. That I really enjoyed it. I don’t usually watch any series unless its complete. But sadly I could not wait for this one to be complete before starting it. Thankfully they added uploads everyday. So I could have a wee taste daily. I wish we could get more nice Historicals like this. This drama had just enough complication to make it interesting. Sometime there gets to be to many players.. then when they start name changing then its worse. Even with the name changes here I was able to keep up.

I agree. I have watched this while it was still ongoing and had to wait for the last episodes to be released. It's really an interesting storyline, the characters show depth, the portrayal of emotions is amazing, Cheng Yi's acting is great, the ending song is especially beautiful and the showdown was something long awaited in the end. In between I sometimes felt it a little dragging because of the overall length and sadness, but I still don't regret watching it. All actors did a great job! ❤

In 24 hrs in one day there's have 1,440 mins . and the mins of 1 episode have have a 45mins w/secnds so it's approximately 1,440 mins in 32 ep also, so you mean you didn't even take your sight aways from the gadget? Didn't you eat? Or take a bath? Didn't your parent scolding you?

I'm crying out loud of this drama.. Full of struggle although their love of each other is undefeatable (Qi yan & Roungyu)but sad to say one pair must be gone 😭😭😭😭 and it's too late to know the truth 😩😪.but still I love this drama series. ❤️
