Seiyuu about other jobs they want to do. Some a bit too realistic, some not at all. From the Suisei no Gargantia event. Ending: • Avalon - Taku Iwasaki
2:40 It's more like a custodian, or an apartment caretaker than a supervisor. 3:14 Not "Grilling fish in the forest", but "Stabbing fish with a spear". A fish-spear, or a harpoon is called "mori" in Japanese and it's a homonym of forest. Look at Kaito pretending to hold one.
I know im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
Sugita spent all his experience points at skill: Voice lv. Max Impression lv. Max Otaku lv. Max And kaito being kaito 😂😂😂😂 And it surprised me that inorin had such a wild dream
Kanemoto is less of a misunderstood esper or a squid girl (de geso) than she is the jealous woman that tried to stop her friend going to a place further than the universe (whose VA is also in this video)
That question really was quite hard hitting. Specially for people who has jobs where their passion isn't really there for. Hmmm.. Thanks very much Kaiki-kun~!
ahhh "its easier when people think i'm an old dude who fools around and thinks about perverted things all the time" 8( made me sad for some reason ;;; this was a more serious topic and i'm glad you uploaded it! thank you!! ALSO THE SLIDE INTO THE OUTRA KILLED ME LMAO ITS SO INTENSE
well.. we all look at them seiyuu like idol and perfect.. but they also human like us... they can also have bad day.. and if you havent known.. even for a famous seiyuu.. they still have to go through audition... and some still get rejected
I think it's more like that he's thankful that he has "weird uncle" vibes than "strict professional person" aura bc sometimes it also helps in building connections so he seems more approachable.
I can't imagine seiyuu doing other jobs, because to become one it's really hard. I'm pretty sure there are lot of people failed to become seiyuu than succeed to become one Gotta respect people that going down their own path instead of relying on parent's property/fortune Also I like how Sugita called Kanemoto Hisako with Ika-chan xD Maybe this is back then when her biggest known role is Ika Musume?
yeah, most of them have multiple gigs like radio show, commentator, and singer to keep them afloat. though those with unique voice and great publicity tends to stay longer in the industry due to having roles pretty much reserved for them.
The thing is,you can't feed yourself by only doing seiiyu job because the salary is actually low.So many seiiyu either works at shops or becoming singer/idol.
It's also pretty surprising, considering that Hisako Kanemoto was one of the two individuals caught up in the whole prank scandal (the other was Takuma Terashima). I guess this means Sugitan has reconciled with Kanemoto, although whether he has done the same with Terashima is unknown.
I almost expected her to read the e-mail from her phone instead of a sheet - then throw the phone away after a half sentence. :) Edit: I have to link this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2uCTLc5VuB0.html :D
It is definitely not luck, nor is it his great voice acting, if anything, it is his ability to make strong social connections within the industry as well as his ability to entertain his fans beyond the anime's he stars in, an example would be his radio show as well as his gaming show with Nakamura Yuuichi. He's also a generally likable guy, he has known to be a bit of a perv at times, yet he somehow manages to act like a complete gentlemen at the same time, making many female voice actors fans of him, or simply respect him heavily. Definitely a great voice actor and a great person.
I've probably posted this on other videos for this channel or some such, but it's this. Like, the whole "Perverted, socially awkward goofball" is a part of who he is, but for the most part, it's mostly PR at the level he plays it up in public because, well, not a whole lot of people want to talk about the grueling reality of having to do an eleven-hour (minimum) work day journey, 5 to 7 days a week with nary a break. One of the most vivid stories I recall is when I found out through mutual friends/acquaintances that HanaKana and Kensho Ono started hitting-it-off/dating about 6 or so years ago, since back then it was still sort of a thing they kept private and I recall both a recording engineer/composer who is my senior and Takahiro Sakurai talking about it like "Well, it's nice that it happened", and when I asked "Oh, how did that happen?", they both basically summed it up as "Sugita is a big softie idiot and played celestina to those two". Apparently OnoD, Hosoya and Miyano also helped along because I remember Hosoya being really proud of how they started going out and OnoD totally doing the "fuck yeah! kanpai!" thing with them. Funny fellows, them voice actors. :3
I love how HiroC told him something like that bcoz I remembered watching a documentary of him talking about the hardships of being a seiyuu, clinging to and treasuring his voice
I'm surprised about Inorin's dream. It's so cool they have dreams besides their seiyuu work, it's inspiring. P.S. that hula hoop end clip is a classic by now, keep it up!
I could totally picture him working with cattle, idk why. Brushing cows while chewing on a piece of straw, wearing suspenders and rocking a farmer tan. No I'm totally not crushing hard on Sugita-san.
Maybe less strenuous farming like that, I was just thinking back to the Tokyo Encounter episode where he got out of breath after jumping on the spot for 30 seconds haha
@Lusbox you mean the one where they played Takashi's Castle with the controller mat? They worked out for HOURS and they condensed it down to a short bit! Poor Sugita-san and Nakamura-san were so out of breath. (Tokyo Encounter ep 4 for those interested)
wow, this is the kind of content I’d love to see more of. it’s great to see them talking seriously about careers and their life. thanks for this video!!
"it's easier when people think I'm an old dude who fools around and thinks about pervert things all the time" you mean you DON'T?! HOPES AND DREAMS CRUSHED!
damn Sugita word its really true at least for me, mostly in any country when you already or in 30`ish you must know what you do or already settle the path you choose this hit me hard when you still on search the change
That question hits fcking hard. AAAAAAAAA Im on my 4 years at the same company and sometimes makes me think, "Is this really it? Is this really the job that makes me happy? Doing codes 24/7"
much like that of a voice actor in the west. the only reason why seiyuu are famous is because they are encouraged to have singing or live acting careers on top of voice work
