Sugita Tomokazu dances live full: • Video Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu ending dance: • The Melancholy of Haru... Kyon character song(Remix): • Kentai Life Returns - ...
Poor Sugita. I guess he really dislikes performing live. At least at Haruhi Suzumiya concert his character song allowed him to fool around. I've seen a few of his performances of serious songs. During those he had constant "Kill me, please" face.
Haruhi Suzumiya and Lucky Star really gives him the opportunity to do so. Since he technically sang a song in Haruhi Suzumiya and was encouraged by his fellow seiyuu(especially Seiyuu Mom) that he can do it.
Seiyuu really have to do a lot other than voice acting, it's pretty impressive the effort some of them put in when they probably thought they wouldn't have to do such things or are even interested in those things like singing, rapping and dancing, photoshoots, doing music videos and concerts etc.
The top seiyuu are something like famous celebrities in Japan, so they do more than just voice acting, compared to their rest of the world counterparts.
and also they have to do radio thingy... im pretty sure its need a lot of effort to maintain thier voice with all the events and all.. since their voice are their life
@@Kinochan28 I thought that was a joke about his name having Ono in it- there are so many Onos playing as the joestars! The non-Onos got to stick together nowadays..
Yeah lol xD But his performance as Ron in Norn9 makes me forget that gintoki even exist. I have to rewatch some of gintoki clips to remind myself xD He's such a good voice actor!
I was like "when did Sugita any performance dancing??" then you bless me with that fragment of Suzumiya Haruhi. Thank you so much for this. Now I can love Sugita even more XDDDDDDD
@@GiniGini I saw what you typed a few moments ago, no need to be on your tiptoes for nothing. I was just stating something most people familiar with Sugita know.
I love how KugiRie just there to react and laugh at it, she doesn't even speak one word xD Also yea I noticed seiyuu work is gradually become more and more like promoting anime, dance & sing, perform in stage if the anime is about idols & stuffs, radio Not that is a good thing, it's giving "chance" to other seiyuu to get more work xD
Lotus Juice has been his guest personality in Sugita's Anigeradidooon radio for a few times and LJ also has produced the radio's official ending theme at some point. They became acquaintance during one of Persona Live few years ago (before P5 of course).
Watching Sugita go ham for the live Hare Hare Yukai gives me life. I don't know if that's messing up. I don't know if that's purposeful. All I know is that it's beautiful.
It's always funny to watch something like the Utapri live stages and seeing how obvious it is which seiyuu can't really dance. Really goes to show that even with a sense of musicality and rhythm, it doesn't mean you are coordinated enough to dance. People like Miyano Mamoru set the bar way too high for all the regular humans...
I understand. It's fine if the dubber can actually sing, but selling a song voiced by a bad singer is simply bad Not everyone can pull off carnival phantasm OP's lvl of awesomeness
I knew he's bad singer. When I watched Gintama on Onsen with JoJo's referenced arc, he sang a song with koto, that supposed to be a farewell song, but Sugita's really bad, and then he was crying. I don't know if that's the character (Gin-san was crying) or Sugita himself just felt want to commit sudoku that time. And the fact that his mom just said on Ginpachi Sensei segment, that he was baaaaad, just made me kinda sad. I don't really like if seiyuu need to have other talent that sells, like singing, model, etc. It's my pet peeves. If they really did have talent, good for them. I just ... don't like that freaking seiyuus NEED to stay relevant with their fans and the industries.
Dewi Shinta P that's him playing Gintoki's character. His mom told him to sing properly because he can sing even though he doesn't believe it (watch Sugita/Gintoki singing Shine)
if gintoli was real this would be him omg but yah he's so valid tbh like he's a voice actor not a live performer too. bad he's so fuckin funny and good at it
Poor Sugita. He really didn't look like he was having fun at that Haruhi Suzumiya event. He kind of looked dead on the inside. To become a seiyuu these days, you really have to do a lot more than just voice acting alone. It's quite a lot. I guess he didn't do what Takahiro Sakurai or Akira Ishida did where they request to not sing character songs and things like that. He did just recently do an ending song for Robihachi I think which is an anime from this season. Daisuke Sakaguchi said that he's not good at singing or dancing either, but wasn't he a part of E.M.U.? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZIlyYijQ7iE.html
Its the opposite than here.... before, like elvis presley, you had to sing, dance, know how to entertain, appeal brands, etc... now people can live like millonaires acting specific roles... i repeat. In japan was the exact opposite with voice actors
Yeah, Kajita knows Lotus Juice through Persona. Sugita likes Persona (through mainline SMT) and close friend of Kajita plus appeared in Persona Stalker Club before even he casted Yusuke.
Cuz of Persona. Mafia Kajita who is their mutual friend hosted the Persona Stalker Club segment with another VA and LJ/Sugita were guests on the show and probably got to know one another through there
