Matsuoka is alaways shy and feel uncomrtable to girls from long time ago. But he evolved with his calm and way more brave since then. He is now feel good at talk and friendly with any girls. I don't know about Thier relationship but hope if it's true they married or love each other I pray for them to be alaways good and best seiyuu couple more than seiyuu couples. @@andrewfantome4020 True, you're absolutely right that people like me (and I don't usually ship) are way too invested in this, lol. In this case it's not completely baseless though. It's also thanks to many of the staffs in the radio productions loving to ship tease us :D I mean Kayano recording a birthday message for Matsuoka's radio show? That's really not common. Even in non scripted segments you can see that the two have a very unique chemistry (even though Matsuoka isn't very sociable). It's just that there is no one that Kayano treats the same as Matsuoka. There are mannerisms that only he brings out and remarks that can be easily interpreted as praise or romantic interest from her side. That could all very well be because she just enjoys working with him and admires that he does such a damn good job in this industry even though his shy personality is a huge handicap. But both of them being single (as far as the public knows) is a big factor that many don't interpret it that way. All in all, I, along with many others, am probably pretty freaking stupid for being so invested but there are many ships out there that are way, way dumber and with no basis in reality :D

You just put into words what most Tsugu-Kayano fans are feeling :) To add on to the context I remember watching another subbed piece in youtube where Kaji Yuki joking asks Kayano out. And it was freaking babe magnet Kaji Yuki, the handsome, outgoing, super popular top Seiyuu. And Kayano said NO! ( Well given that it was on a public radio show she probably wouldn't say yes anyway. ) I think most people are imagining if Tsugu Tsugu was the one asking her out, there could be a variety of funny or embarrassed responses from Kayano, but she would probably say yes in one way or another. Well maybe if its on mass media she couldn't say yes right away, but she might drop a hint or two that she might consider it if its Tsugu :)

John Louise Bianan I was unclear of what she was describing as dangerous (abunai na~). The previous bit where Matsuoka changes his ‘wakatta’ to ‘wakarimashita’ is, as kuagelo has pointed out, a clutch attempt by Matsuoka to switch to informal language.

I didn’t change the translation for what Matsuoka said because it wouldn’t have an impact on what he said. However there may be a link to what Kayano was describing as ‘abunai.’

The letter mentions Hikasa Youko's marriage, but the question posed to Matusoka and Kayano is purely if anything has changed recently. The '2 years on' is purely taken from the Reddit page.
